I remember memorizing the ending song dance routine even tho I didnt even watch the show (and still havent but)
I dunno how well that show still holds up but everyone should see it at least once. That shit was iconic!
Come to think of it, that’s also what set me apart from my other nerd friends at the time because I got super hooked on the show but like, none of my friends were gonna watch a slice of life show with me.
Izou+Salieri
Give me two characters in my inbox
They’d be great friends, and great lovers.
They are very weird and that’s what makes the click so easily. They’re killers from the get go so there’s no barrier between them so “let’s have a drink!”
They’re so strange and serious, it’s appealing to the other and their quirks quickly understood. Izou’s murderous way of caring is very appreciated. Salieri going nuts when he gets metcha praised is very cute.
Also they’re cool and red and badass and menacing and they’re both loud and enjoy what they’re doing, why wouldn’t they hang out?
Also… sensei’s music sounds very nice, his voice is also very nice, his stature is very nice… Izou’s hair is kinda fluffy and his face is very handsome…

Love how Wada just gives him a small bubble ass. Him cute
Wada, chuckling to herself: I mean, why would anyone ever use him if they thought he had a flat ass?
you know whom I want a rating on: sad monster music ossan, Salieri!
10/10 character. design, story, everything about this guy is fucking god tier
9/10 unit sometimes hard to use properly and really needs his skills leveled but by god he has no business hitting as hard as he does while being a 3*
Davrob ;D
when I started shipping it if I did: A little over two years ago? It started off as just a random thing but it quickly escalated beyond my control.....
my thoughts: I love them and I wanna see them interact!!! They’re good boys DW! Let them speak more! I think there’s a lot of potential for amusing interactions with them, but also just an interesting dynamic with the not-so-chivalrous thief and the king who would rather be a shepherd.
What makes me happy about them: Thinking about them spending time together and starting to enjoy each others company, both of them having a person they can rely on to be there for them when they aren’t focusing on fighting or Servant stuff, just not having to be along.
What makes me sad about them: I imagine both of them initially feel like the other doesn’t really care for them as much as they do, and that their feelings aren’t fully reciprocated, so they try and act like it’s all casual even though they both want to be closer but are worried the other won’t be interested in that, and don’t wanna lose what they have just because they want more ;;
things done in fanfic that annoys me: the fact that none exist is pretty annoying tbh
things I look for in fanfic: any of it
Who I’d be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other: I like Robin/Billy, and Robin/Medusa, and I like David/Altera and David/Moses, so there are other options TvT
My happily ever after for them: They go live in a little cottage on the outskirts of the woods... David raises sheep and chickens... Robin hunts and forages in the woods during the day... They spend cold nights cuddling by the fire with cozy quilts and maybe a dog. Billy and Liz visit frequently.
who is the big spoon/little spoon: Robin is the big spoon, David is the little.
what is their favorite non-sexual activity: Nature walks!
noise-sama replied to your post “if wada and pako combined forces they could kill and eat takeuchi with...”
Takeuchi, Wada, pako, and lack. 4 artists lived in harmony but everything changed when Takeuchi started to draw Saberfaces. Only the trio of Wada, pako, and lack can stop him and I believe they can continue the Fate franchise
lack isnt even officially employed by type moon i think??? apart from guest appearances in some artbooks.
they should hire lack tho
I feel like that once the red fraction/amakusa revealed their true intentions, a1 picdump automatically pushed them into generic enemy fodder position.
mmm kinda yeah? I don’t think its just them tho, both sides have gotten pretty shoddy treatment by the anime.
For example, theres an entire section in the third novel where everyone has dreams/flashbacks/interactions the night after the fight with Avicebron and his Adam golem that develop their characters. Mordred has a dream about their past, Seig and Astolfo have some bonding and then Sieg has a dream about Astolfo’s past that transitions into a dream that foreshadows his final fate, Semiramis has an interaction with Amakusa that leads into her backstory, Jeanne gets an interaction with a woman from the church, Fiore has a dream where she sees Chiron’s past as he taught young Achilles.
And theres tons more moments like that i can think of off the top of my head that were cut. At one point in Volume 2, Shakespeare and Semiramis have a conversation about Amakusa that examines both of their motives for supporting his plan. Completely cut from the anime. Shishigou’s backstory is shown to Mordred in dreams and its cut from the anime. Achilles is supposed to have had flashbacks to his father telling him about Atalanta, etc.
So its not just the red side. If anything, the entire anime feels like someone adapted Apocrypha by way of a game of telephone, with only the barest shadow of the original story coming through by the time A1 was finished.
