Time for a fic rec! I am going through my favorite fic rec list for Merthur again to reread some good stuff (https://poetryincamelot.tumblr.com/fic-recs if you haven't seen it, definitely check it out), and I just finished rereading one of my all-time favorites. Here it is!

Summary: Arthur and Merlin are the pillars of an actually huge group of friends, and Arthur is determined to hold up the pact that they made on their first day together: no dating each other. But through uni and the years after, Arthur's been secretly pining away for Merlin. When Gwen and Lancelot are the first to break the pact, all hell breaks loose.

Notes: This one is so fidging c u t e! And hilarious! skdnslknskl. I love huge, crazy friend groups/families, and I loved Arthur's (admittedly oblivious) POV! Also, him being out and proud from the start was nice to see! And I have to say, even though Merthur was the focus, each character and couple was given so much thought, nuance and detail. On the longer side, but you won't even notice :)

Summary: As a poor struggling PhD student, Merlin was used to a certain lifestyle. Then Arthur moved in across the hall and ruined everything.

Comment: This story was so fun and sweet. Their first interaction, and Arthur’s ‘funny tummy’ was hilarious, as was the misunderstanding between Arthur and Merlin concerning Mordred. I loved how co-dependent they became and they jealousy Arthur displayed. A lovely story.

1. A font you don’t like to use

It’s not that I don’t like this font, I just have a love hate relationship with Bebas Neue bc I like it so much by itself that I overuse it, I’ve found that it works better for smaller lettering.

in conclusion: I use this font too much and need to chill (not that I can but still)

All I know is that Jin is Not it. I really don’t see it with Jin at all.

Every year Merlin and Arthur have a competition with Morgana and Gwen over who can come up with the tackiest family Christmas cards. Normally Gwen and Morgana win, but this year the boys are bringing out the big guns.

Merry Christmas, @nomical !!!!!!! From the bottom of my heart, from Merlin’s family to yours. ;) <3 It felt really good to draw the guys again!
