Today was a good day . . .

Not only because it’s Friday and my favorite day of the week but because I had a face to face consult with a new RE today. It was at our “local” CCRM clinic. This guy gave me HOPE! He told me NOT to give up and that I am not at the point of needing to try donor eggs instead. This is a complete 180 from what my previous RE said. So needless to say I am pretty excited to try the Estrogen Priming Protocol with growth hormone. The only downside to this clinic is that it is so expensive! $21,500 not including meds or transfer. This just seems crazy to me since my last 2 cycle were partially covered by my old employer at their clinic. But we all know the outcomes from those cycles. I guess it rings true in the IVF world, you get what you pay for (well for the lucky ones). I am still waiting on RMNJ to see what they think, but it is taking forever! Then in April I have a phone consult with the founder of CCRM, Dr. Schoolcraft, even though he should say what the RE today told me. I don’t think in this case it will hurt to have to many opinions. May cause a bit of confusion but I just want the right protocol that will give us our twins! ;)
