Our sweet Snorky was helped to the rainbow bridge this afternoon. She was diagnosed with liver cancer not too long ago and Horner's syndrome. She has been rapidly slowing down, more lethargic, and not wanitng to eat. Her tummy had become so swollen very quickly. We helped her have a peaceful passing so she would no longer suffer. Snorkels was such a sweet girl. She was very independent and so very quiet. I don't believe I ever heard her bark. She came to the sanctuary last September at which point she was already deaf but fairly healthy. She never let anything stop her and was such a strong spirit. When she came to the sanctuary we believe she was reunited with another Beagle we have here that was her Mom. Snorkels and Tootsie have gotten to spend their remaining time together. What is better than being reunited and loved. Two girls that were abandoned so long ago to find peace and companionship was wonderful to watch. Snorky could be feisty. She loved food and could climb cabinets. She was a smart cookie who knew how to get what she wanted. We will miss her beautiful face and sweet personality but am so thankful that we were able to give her a family, a home, and in the end a peaceful passing. Run free sweet girl, cancer free, both beautiful eyeballs have returned. Go find the others...they are waiting. 💜🌈💗 Please donate to Snorkel's end of life care.
