Hi and thank you, now I am cursed with the obsession with Phantom of the Opera Malleus. (•u•)✨ I’ve been listening to songs and it’s been stuck in my head ever since.

Ever since I’ve hunted down Kazuki kato’s past theatre performances (since I remembered he like vil’s VA was a theatre kid too) I’ve went back to the musical broadway (tm) rabbit hole 😭

He really has a very interesting and powerfully dark voice, and just like Vil his intonations are just….hhhhhhhhhh……

Shame that the phantom of the opera musical will come to a close next year, but at least we still have kazuki kato 😔

No matter what the salary you get in the future you will feel financially pressured because you will feel that you have to keep giving to your family. It isn't that they keep asking you for money too but you feel morally obligated to keep providing for them. At times there will really be a need to provide for the family financially. Compared to your younger sister you will likely be able to save more of your money that you make. Your younger sister is more of a spender and doesn't plan very far for her future financially. However, you will often feel like it will go out the door for some reason to pay expenses for the family. The financial burden will come from there. It's ok to say no to paying for others sometimes; it's also ok to treat yourself from time to time.

i want to read the applejack defense paragraphs

well they’ve been deleted but the gist of it is earth ponies have a subservient role in pony society and they’re typically expected to farm and work the earth. even pinkie pies family are rock farmers and she grew up on a farm. this of course entitles them to wealth and land but at the same time they’re kind of like serfs.

you see throughout mlp fim that a lot of jobs are assigned by race, most guards are pegasi and unicorns (there are some earth ponies i think but they’re pretty rare to see)

you also see a lot of unicorn scholars, they’re allowed to go for an education and have a lot of upward mobility, twilight literally became a princess.

pegasi also do manual labor but in rarer cases also have the ability to become princesses (candence was originally a pegasus)

so like yes. applejack has a plot of land that has been in her family for generations, she also makes money from farming. but the racial dynamics of pony society kind of shift my perception of her, especially since she genuinely walks kind of a tight rope keeping the apple family farm afloat. she doesn’t rent her land out to others like a landlord, she fsrms it. she’s expected to farm it at the behest of her alicorn overlords.
