Pile 1

There is something very simple but also very hard in this pile and it is the fact that you are the only person you will definitely have to deal with for the rest of your life. Like there is no escaping that, there is no moment where you can just step away from yourself and be like okay I will come back later when I feel better about this. You are always there, in every situation, every thought, every feeling. And I feel like you do not always realise how important that actually is. Because you spend so much time thinking about other people, how they see you, how they treat you, what they think of you. But those people, they come and go. Some stay longer, some shorter, but they are never guaranteed. You are. You will definitely stay. And it almost feels like you treat yourself as if you are temporary, as if you are someone that does not need that much care or love because maybe someone else will give it to you. But that is not how it works. Because even if someone else loves you, even if someone else cares for you deeply, if you do not love yourself it will never fully reach you in the way that it should. It will always feel like something is missing, like something is off, and you will not understand why. It is because you are not giving yourself the same thing you are expecting from others. If you really think about it, if you do not love yourself you are basically putting yourself in a relationship with someone you do not even like that much. And that someone is you. And you cannot leave. You cannot break up, you cannot take space, you cannot just ignore it forever because it will always come back. Every single day. And that is honestly just very miserable. It is like being stuck in something that drains you constantly without a way out. And you do not deserve that, definitely not. You deserve to feel comfortable with yourself, you deserve to feel safe within your own mind, your own body. And I feel like you sometimes forget that that is even an option for you. Like you think maybe this is just how it is supposed to be, like you are just supposed to be hard on yourself, criticise yourself, never fully be satisfied. But that is not true at all. That is something you learned, not something that is meant for you.

Pile 2

You have a lot of potential in you, way more than you allow yourself to actually see or acknowledge most of the time. It is not just in one area either, it is in many different parts of your life, things you have not even fully discovered yet or given yourself the chance to explore. There is this sense that you could definitely become something great, or do something great, but you keep holding yourself back in small ways that over time become very big ways. It is not always obvious, sometimes it looks like you just being realistic, or you trying to not get your hopes up too much, but in reality it is you limiting yourself before anything has even had the chance to begin. Your dreams are not unrealistic in the way you think they are. They might be big, or they might require a lot from you, but that does not make them impossible. You definitely underestimate what you are capable of, and at the same time you overestimate how much you need to already be perfect or ready before starting anything. For someone to actually flourish and grow into their full potential they need to be treated well. That is just how it works. If someone is constantly put down, ignored, or not taken care of properly it will not grow the way it is supposed to. You are very quick to dismiss your own ideas, your own talents, your own progress. You do not give yourself enough credit, and you definitely do not give yourself the same kindness you would give to other people. There is also this thing where you wait for other people to validate you first before you allow yourself to feel proud or worthy. But that kind of validation is not always going to come, and even if it does it will never feel like its enough if you do not already believe it a little bit yourself. So you stay stuck in this cycle where you are waiting and waiting, while also not giving yourself what you are waiting for. If you think about it, you would never treat someone you care about the way you treat yourself sometimes. You would definitely encourage them, you would tell them to go for their dreams, you would remind them of their strengths. But when it comes to you, you hesitate, you doubt, you pull back. And that is exactly why you should love yourself more. Not in a forced way, but in a way where you start treating yourself like someone who actually matters, someone who actually deserves to grow and succeed. Because you do. And the more you start to treat yourself like that, the more space you create for that potential to actually come out and exist in the real world, not just in your head.

Pile 3

You should love yourself because you are amazing, and I do not think you fully understand that. You say it to yourself sometimes, or you hear it from other people and you kind of just brush past it as if it is something small, something normal, something that applies to everyone equally. But it definitely does not apply in the same way, not like this. That is something you really need to understand, because you keep comparing yourself as if traits are just shared in identical ways when they are not. You are creative, but not in just one specific sense. It is not just about art, or writing, or anything like that. You might think your hobbies are random, or not that special, or maybe even a bit silly sometimes, but the truth is that they reflect parts of you that are worth loving. They show how your mind works, what you enjoy, what you are drawn to, and that in itself is something incredibly valuable. And you are intelligent, even if you do not always feel like it. Intelligence for you is not just about knowing facts or being good at something academically, it is more about how you perceive things. Some of you may have been over working yourselves because of something that is really hard to deal with on your own and you have found that working give you an escape from that.
