Ok I finished Bridgerton, here are my thoughts about things now that I have full context.
I was disappointed in the Wollstonecraft slander. I know it was from Cressida who isn’t the most critical thinker on the show, but she does have intelligence and cleverness, if they just ended the conversation on she read her cause she was bored I would have let it slide but saying that the mother of modern feminism “had good ideas but….” It leads to an anti feminist sentiment. I know the show is about romantic love but once again I will say what I said earlier you can be a feminist and fall in love. Can see that Eloise felt sad when Hyacinth swore off marriage, but saying the marriage has benefits for women and apologizing to her (and Cressida) for being against it is also forcing a feminist needs to fall in heterosexual love to see the error of her ways. I’m not digging it. I wish they had Eloise still have her hesitation about marriage but still supporting of her family members who do want it. Because as a woman in regency England she has very valid concerns about marriage given the time period she lives in. Honestly I would be fine if Eloise was a spinster the rest of the show and continued being kind and supportive of her loved ones when they find a love marriage, but the truth is that not everyone has a love marriage especially in that time period. And if Eloise is to fall in love I would think it would make sense to it to be with someone who is also critical of the gender roles in society and the harsh and unfair expectations that come with them. I’m saying her love interest has to also be someone who is critical and sad about societal expectations and awareness that because of that they view love and expectations in marriage differently than everyone else. I don’t mind Eloise being open to love but I don’t want her to become softened because of love. I want her to be with someone who matches her freak. But this is the marriage is everything show, so I don’t trust them to have Eloise be with someone who is also a feminist. I feel like if next season is her season I won’t watch until I’ve seen some analysis and have enough spoilers to know that she is safe. If it’s Francesca’s I’ll watch it. But I also worry it will happen in the background like a side plot and I know that some fucks in the tags are being very homophobic and throwing a ton of misogyny and racism at Michaela. The bi and lesbian ladies are going to kiss and I would watch a season of them.
Tldr: I’m very nervous about Eloise’s season and the only way I can see it happening is if her love interest is also a feminist who questioned the gender roles and expectations they face in society. I’ll watch Francesca’s season if it happens.
Here are my headcanons for if the welcome home characters joined the muppets when the muppet show started since welcome home was taken off of platforms!
☆□•-------------------•□☆
(In this au there won't be any dark or horror stuff bc this will be if welcome home wasn't a horror thing and was an actual show so if you want horror this isn't a horror au.)
[That means home and the others are normal and the show isn't dark]

In the mid-70s, when The Muppet Show was being made, the company that owned welcome home decided to make a deal with Jim Henson to where he gets to own the characters and officially use them in any muppet related stuff because of the downfall of welcome. Jim Henson accepted the offer and got the rights to the welcome Home series.
Jim updated all the welcome home puppets a little (just small tweaks and some updated outifts.) to make them look newer and better quality.
They then were added into The Muppet Show, and the characters appear in the theme songs and multiple episodes.
They added some skits for the characters (example: Eddie trying to deliver mail, but all the muppet dogs chase him away).
Most of the Welcome Wome characters acted the same as they did in Welcome Home except for Wally. Wally was made to be a little less childish (he still acted childish at times), and he flirted with some of the women on the show and liked getting kisses from them.
The WH characters acted a little more mature than they did in the show and would make a few adult jokes.
They would appear in:
All seasons of The Muppet Show.
Background cameos in the 1979 muppet movie.
The great muppet caper (as happiness hotel workers)
Some other muppet movies (as background characters or they get small lines)
Muppets (2011) (with small talking lines and in the Muppet Telethon scene) (Howdy would be a part of the barbershop quartet in the barbershop scene)
Muppets Most wanted (Wally would get a few lines, and the others would get background appearances)
The Jim Henson Hour (They would be in some of the skits or in the background)
Muppets Tonight (Wally would appear in the Paula Abdul episode where he would get a kiss from her, and Clifford would get angry at Wally)
Muppets 2015 series (All the WH characters would be in it and get a good amount of screen time)
Muppets Mayhem (Eddie and Sally would get a small appearance in an episode)
☆□•-------------------•□☆
Wally would be more of a main character in the muppets.
Welcome Home would have reruns every year on its birthday month on the Disney Channel.
Some of the characters would have also appeared on talk shows.

Vincent Price in Adventures of Captain Fabian (1951)
You know that bit in Catching Fire when all the Victors/Tributes join hands and raise them above their heads after Peeta tells Caesar that Katniss is ‘pregnant’? And the capital crowd lose their minds booing and the tributes all raise their joined hands together and Caesar is just there looking at them, s p e e c h l e s s, and sobered, lowering his microphone and- oh boy.
I love that scene so much.
Stanley Tucci is an amazing actor.
