me explaining how all horrors in non zero sum were a result of putting two toxic seme endgame material characters in one work because it all got triggered by taegyeom overstepping his side character boundaries and behaving like a main love interest. (getting jealous of seeing haewon kiss sleeping haeyoung and blackmailing him into sex. taking his first time! like sure haewon was in love with haeyoung but thats not a rare trope for protag being in love with someone else they idolize first and then love interest waltzes in and they get into turmoilous toxic relationship. plus in romance its often a golden rule that the one who takes protagonists first kiss/virginity is endgame.) i don't think haeyoung is that self aware but it all makes a twisted sense when you think of his actions as trying to reinstate his title as main toxic seme according to the genre rules after this shift in status quo. in meta sense that scene where haeyoung invited taegyeom to sa haewon tgt has logical purpose since that overrides the significance of taegyeom taking haewons virginity and puts them all back to equal footing in romance endgame math. gangrape was needed to make hyunwoo to dirty himself too bc if not he could become surprise endgame as the only morally good love interest character. plus haeyoung being a ring leader of it all puts him back in the head of haewon's emotional involvement (trauma bond).
