I guess someone else liked my Spring wreath since as of this morning it’s home to a little bird friend. Hopefully it doesn’t mind my family’s comings and goings to much and stays.

Got some cute metal signs for only 1.44 a piece. Now I just need somewhere to hang them. I don’t think that they would last at all outside in my garden unfortunately so I have to find someplace indoors.
I cant describe how much I love it/how happy it makes me when it’s time to harvest from garden. I’m looking forward to making the Sun Gold tomatoes tonight into a tomato pesto for some pasta. My ultimate goal is to not have to buy produce eventually and just grow my own.
Well we have a name for the other Cuckoo Marans (yes it’s Marans even when talking about just one) And their name is Hannibal! I was up almost all night trying to get her to stop biting the others . There is actually 4 chicks hiding from her in this picture behind that food canister. She has been behaving today so that’s good.
Got some chicks to add to my flock. 2 Cuckoo Marans, 2 Rhode Island Reds and 2 Easter Eggers.
Daily Chick Pic! My one Rhode Island Red is starting to feather out. We haven’t decided on names for all of them yet, except for one of the Cuckoo Marans will be named Cadbury. Since Marans usually lay darker brown eggs. And yes I’ll be back to posting more knitting stuff. I actually have almost completed another Flax sweater that I’ve been really lazy about taking any progress pictures of.
