it's so good to be back!! i can barely enjoy a break if my thoughts are constantly going back to needing to write 😭 but it was nice nonetheless. still, giving the people what they want satisfies my people pleaser tendencies a lot more.

this chapter really did a 180 😭 but i had so much fun writing robby's and jack's dialog.

it was the first thing i did, before writing anything else for chap 21 and i think it turned out alright.

the aftermath of robby's actions however will be... mhhh... somewhat predictable, but also probably not what anyone will expect 😌 jack and reader are definitely not where they once were, so this mess might end up being a blessing in disguise?!?!

also, it wasn't planned at all for robby to say the three magic words... it just happened like that but i'm not mad about it either. originally it would've happened in the next chap and probably be said by reader, but whatever. it fit, i didn't mind and after 21 chaps (which is currently the half way point of chaps i have planned) i think it was a good choice ✨️

anyways, i'm so happy you enjoyed it!!!! i missed this little tradition of ours 🐞🦐🐞🦐🐞

Hello, my friend! I've never watched Naruto (I have tried but I got impatient), can I still play your game and understand it correctly without doing so?

Hmm, I believe so. Plot wise, you'll definitely be able to follow along because I'm not sticking too close to canon. (Will have some canon like events and characters that appear but not fully canon)

If anything, you might have trouble with the terms? I.e., jutsu, Chakra, Mizukage, etc., but I can add a codex or index of terms for individuals who have never watched Naruto or played any of the video games so that they can follow along.

Side note we should totally have a naruto watch party or something every month until either me or steph @mata-aetara-if posts the first demo 🤔. Watching with other people might make it less painful lol. Although i am just thinking out loud, if people actually wanna participate in this its a whole another subject 😄.

I really like saying things out loud but I've stopped doing it. I feel like if I do it in the future people will think I'm weird

I've found saying things out loud helps me remember so I feeeeel this. I tend to narrate a lot of things. And I get worrying about people thinking you're weird. One of the things I do in public is have at least one headphone in or a Bluetooth so people assume you're talking to someone. Although to be honest most the time no one spares a second glance. So do what you gotta do, odds are people won't notice or care.

People also usually ask why you'd ship the whitest ship (hint: the answer is fetishization) when there are other healthy ships. The answer is p clear tbh.

I ship FinnPoe, and I love it when Rey takes down Kylo. And I also realize my obsession with Kylux is a love for skinny, androgynous emo boys imposed on me by white beauty standards. Btw, Domhnall Gleeson is a great actor, so fukin fite me. he most definitely has!! imo jack isn't as chronically online or addicted to his phone as shawn hatosy is, but peepaw does know how to take pics, and he will sneak a few from time to time. but it's going to be the most random and unflattering pics ever. he swears you look the best in all of them, but you would kill him before any of them could be seen by anyone else.

i was thinking about making a camera roll post for jack as well, but i am really hesitant and might never do so, bcs in order to fill it, i would have to add pics that show reader. and in one way or another, it will ultimately show some kind of features, if its skin color, hair, body or style. i try really hard not to show anything like that in the reader camera roll, so that her personality is really the only thing that is set in stone, and everything else is completely free for interpretation.

but if there is demand for it, i could perhaps make a few versions of jack's camera roll depicting different appearances of reader (??)
