So, something is happening.

I use this side blog mostly as my writing-related blog. I reblog writing advice, memes, post my own creative writing, stuff like that. Sometimes I reblog the occasional Fandom thing (especially if it relates to books or story telling/writing), and sometimes some queer shit.

This means I'm aware of a lot of the anti-trans stuff (specifically the whole "Staff/The CEO have been targeting trans women/trans-femme folks in order to hide their posts and nuke their blogs for being "against Tumblr's TOS") that's been happening on and off platform for a while now.

So why the FUCK have I been blocking NSFW blogs that are posting actual smut/erotic/sex gifs? I don't engage with nsfw blogs. I CERTAINLY don't engage with Straight™️ nsfw blogs. So why the fuck is the "porn is bad and Trans is a porn category so therefore trans is bad" platform SUGGESTING STRAIGHT PORN GIF BLOGS TO ME.

Just very confused and upset and needed to rant a bit about it. And will continue blocking these blogs because I simply don't want that shit showing up on my dash when I'm browsing MY WRITEBLR DASH where I expect to see writing stuff.

Okay! Because of people complaining about the mcyt x reader tags: here’s how to block them out!

1.

Click on the settings in the top of your page ^^ I can do one on pc if needed but it’s pretty much the same.

Click general settings, it’s the first thing to come up.

Click on filtering

Click new and then add mcyt x reader

Official Chinchilla Announcement

Hello, guyss!!! Okay, so I’m gonna go over my day a bit just because I need to vent the good & bad of today (but don’t worry I’m going to be focusing like 99% of this post on the chinchilla/good of the day).

So I got up at like... 9ish. Too excited to sleep. Too happy to sleep (for once), and so I animal crossed, did my usual morning routine of animal crossing til it was time to get ready for the day. xD

Then I called this place where I bought new shoes. I spent like half the cost of the shoes in order to get it here 2-day shipping. That was on like the 25th. I still hadn’t gotten it, so I called the place to tell them blah blah. Ended up having to drive to this UPS locker thing to pick them up.

Good news on that: I finally have new shoes that are waterproof so no more wet feet all day (very important in the state I live in, where it gets wet AND cold this time of year).

Enough of that though... now to get down to what you’ve all been waiting for.

So, 11:50ish came around and it was about time to leave the house to see my little devil. I emailed the breeder and told her I was about to leave, asked for permission to take photos while I was there to show hubby and friends.

I drove to her place... which... is gorgeous. And huge. The room with all the chins itself was very big. I think there were like 6-7 cages in it and they weren’t small cages (which I loved).

Anyway, so I got there like... 15 minutes early because I did NOT want to be late for this. Checked my email she said that I could take photos and that she had a surprise for me.

So I email her back and let her know I’m there. Wait about another five minutes, stretch out my legs, do my thang, and then make my way to the door. This place... is huge... it’s absolutely stunning. I can tell these chinchillas are in good hands from someone who cares just by the condition of the house.

So anyway, I make my way to the door and knock. Wait a couple minutes then she shows up (and is adorable as can be) and we have a laugh because she thought I was the UPS person delivering her packages.

So anyway, even though I was early, she let me inside... and we got down to business.

Immediately, she tells me that they had a BABY BORN THAT MORNING.

I kid you not, there was a NEWBORN baby girl..... immediately I was holding back tears that I got to see a literal newborn baby chinchilla.

So then she proceeded to tell me “I’ll show you the standards first”... so we went to the room where she kept the majority of her chins. She showed me my little boy first.

He was... so precious and soft and light and sweet and cuddly... I immediately fell in love... but you guys know me. I fall in love with every chinchilla I see, even in photos xD

So then she showed me the girl (which I was wrong. They’re not siblings. They have different parents). The girl was bigger but younger. I’d have had to wait another week to get her. She was more active and curious than he was when I held her. She kept trying to get up on my shoulder xD I was much more nervous holding her with how active she was and how she kept trying to get up there.

Anyway, so then we put her away... and then I got to see... the BABY.

She was all white with grey around the eyes & cheeks. She was GORGEOUS. But I was deadset on the little boy. His personality was just... so sweet.

Then I asked questions, which even though I had like a million questions, she was super nice and answered all of them. (:

All-in-all, the whole experience was incredible. I was so so happy and I want to volunteer to help her out... if my email will freaking send to her... so that’s the story! I am so excited to bring my baby home.

We’re still going back and forth about names. I want to go to with majority voters and name him Luka but hubbs is leaning toward Mikael. He insists that Luka isn’t a guy’s name (which it totally is)... so we’ll see. I’ll let you all know how this turns out as far as naming goes. xD
