Hawkmoth secret rap career
So the kwamis can influence their wielders while transformed if their will is strong enough uh. Nooro making Gabriel punch himself in the face when??
The only thing I want to see from 7 more potential seasons of miraculous is Lila expanding her mom army and Nooro being so fed up with everyone's bs that he straight up commits murder.
So I fell back into the Hell that is the MLB fandom and saw Tikki’s “Kwami’s don’t fall in Love” and my Plikki heart wouldn’t accept that so here I am hours later with a oneshot about Kwami Lore.
Kwamis don't fall in love.
She tells this Marinette and would feel utterly helpless if she could.
Marinette is suffering and oh so young. For all that most Kwamis act like spoiled children, they are ancient, as old as time and such human things like emotions don't exist for them.
They act the way they do because they understand the fondness that one can feel for a person and because they have learned how to care for creatures such as humans through their holders and how to show empathy or social norms by observing.
Most Kwamis have a personality so childlike because that is all that is left for them sometimes.
They are gods in every way, as Humans would call them, but are still bound to the whims of those that have their miraculous. Humans can force their actions but never will they be able to control how they design their personalities.
Sometimes Tikki resents the mage that weakened them so and trapped them, in a way, in exchange for being able to interact with beings other than Kwamis.
Kwamis don't fall in love.
That is because love is a mortal, fragile thing. And she, for all she acts like a wise elder sister with her holders, isn't one.
She technically isn't even a she. Kwamis don't have a gender. She is she because she chose to be she. Just like Plagg is he because he wanted to be he and Pollen is she because she wanted to be a she.
The Kwamis had first gotten a gender when they learned of misaligned souls in ancient times. That was when a male was born in the body of a female or a female in the body of a male. In modern times such a thing was called transgender.
They had decided that they wanted to have a gender when they had learned of such things. They were not young back then they were older than this new Place that the people called Earth but still were curious and wanted to be like the humans.
Tikki had at first wanted to be him. She had a lot of male holders back then, maybe that influenced her in her decision or it didn't, she would never know but it didn't really matter. And she had enjoyed being he. But it didn't fit. And so, over the part of centuries, he slowly became she.
Plagg had it easier. He had also chosen to be a him from the beginning, they did everything together back then - still do in a way, and for him, it stuck.
Kwamis don't fall in love.
For humans, love comes in various ways.
Marinette for example is in love with Adrien romantically and platonically with Alya. She loves her family with a love that stems from familiarity and time.
Humans see love as this eternal wild flame that consumes them or a steady burning forest that will guide them for the rest of their time.
Kwamis don't fall in love.
Love is perceived to be forever by humans, but Kwamis know better.
They have lived on Earth for about 70 million years if one used human years to count, and a long time in other places of the universe.
They have seen empires rise and fall. Have caused the fall of some of them.
They have done unimaginable things. Feats with their powers the human mind couldn't dream off.
And She and Plagg are the strongest of them all.
Sometimes when they don't use their power regularly, it stows up until one day it comes out in a rush.
Plagg is less careful than her in that capacity. He had such things happen more often, like when he wiped out the Dinosaurs or sunk Atlantis.
But to her too, it had happened before. She sometimes wonders if there is life on her planet. It has been a long time, so there could be. Humans developed in such a short time, after all.
Their loneliness was just one of the reasons why they agreed to be chained to their miraculous by the mage. The stop of their power rushes another one. Weakened like they are and with holders to use them regularly, they spend enough of their power to stay clear of such disasters.
Kwamis don't fall in love.
For all that they act like humans, they aren't ones.
They don't feel emotion the way humans do, sometimes don't feel them at all.
They are as old as time and are more powerful than the human mind can imagine.
They are eternal and for all humans believe love is so it is not.
Kwamis don't fall in love.
What she and Plagg are, mortals with their fragile minds would call in love. Would call soulmates.
But for all they sometimes wish to be human and be able to just live and die some days, they are not.
Kwamis don't fall in love.
She thinks this when she and Plagg get called for the first time in decades. Such a short time for them but oh so long for the confused boy that is now an old man and still unsure.
She, interwoven with a clumsy girl with a heart of steel. Where there has to be a way created for it to come out.
He, intertwined with a broken boy in a cage of diamonds. One that needs to be destroyed so the boy will be able to heal.
Kwamis don't fall in love.
She thinks this as they are trying to connect to Nooro on her Cycle Day.
Nooro is one of her Kwamis and so she should be here with them.
Not caged by the man with the shattered soul in his basement, that Nooro could heal.
For all that Kwamis have to obey their Holders, the holders can't force the way they act. That contains how much information they give their holders.
If that man wants her to heal the woman's soul that poor broken Duusu took with her, Nooro would first have to tell him of its possibility.
And with what he and his wife did to Nooro and Duusu, she doesn't think that will happen.
After all, Duusu is to Nooro what Plagg is to Tikki.
Kwamis don't fall in love.
But that doesn't matter.
What Kwamis have isn't a fleeting thing like a soulmate or feelings.
Kwamis are what humans would call Gods.
And what need would a God have for love?
No, Kwamis don't fall in love.
Kwamis are made in pairs.
Wherever destruction goes creation follows, and wherever something gets created, it will one day get destroyed.
When mortals use the wisdom of the turtle, to think of a course of action the heart of the bee will always be what motivates the humans and the truth of the fox moves them to act, in the end.
Where emotions make out a Soul, there will be no emotions without a soul.
Kwamis don't fall in love.
Kwamis don't love.
They are just are.
Kwamis are born in pairs and belong in groups.
Kwamis as a group is what humans would call a family but that is such a fleeting mortal concept and Kwamis are so much more.
Kwamis born in pairs is what humans would call soulmates. That too is a mortal concept that doesn't describe what Kwamis are.
And so Tikki tells Marinette that Kwamis don't fall in love when she has her breakdown about having to lie to all her loved ones instead of trying to explain.
Explain that Kwamis are more than mere mortals.
Explain that Kwamis don't lie because they see no sense in it but withhold information if they wish to do so.
Explain that Plagg is Tikkis' not because he loves her but because he is hers.
Explain that as much as Plagg is Tikki's, Tikki is Plaggs'.
They do not love each other.
What Tikki and Plagg are to each other is so much more and nothing at all.
They belong to each other for no reason other than they simply do.

Happy July 14th from the Agreste Mansion ! Please stay safe while celebrating (or manifesting) !
marc with the butterfly miraculous is finally done! i’ll name him Monarka (a species of butterfly, the name sound like monarch) it was difficult to concept this one, i wanted to give him this more classy style, i got inspired a lot by tuxedo mask from sailor moon, there was a little problem with that because i wanted him to use formal clothes and still look young so i went with some lighter tones of pink and purple to create some balance.
also, no mask, not that i hate them (even tho they could be more creative with them, hawkmoth looks like a silver latex condom) but i wanted him to have something different this time, so i gave him facial make up to make him look beautiful but also scary.
nooro probably still traumatized after his period in gabriel’s hands, but i’m sure marc will be kind to him and a better holder.
