What were your first impressions of each other when you met? Did you think you could end up together?

I knew Jayce was brilliant the moment I read his notes. A bit egotistical, but his ideas made up for that. I was determined to work with him, but I never expected it to turn into this.

Wanted to ask; how/when/why did you decided to name Nathalie Katalinka🐞?

I know you know it's Hungarian for Ladybug (a lesser used, but still recognised version)... But the crazy part is she might be part Hungaian?! 🇭🇺

I started this ask, becaus I came across the idea sharef by many that his father is Camilo Pista, an unknowm comtact in Gabe's phone...

And interestingly, Pista is a classical hungarian name, nickname for István (Stephan). The name actually means "Crown", so strong ties to royalty. Our first, founding king even was named Istvan, tho, it's a name he took on, previously his pagan name was Vajk...

Non the less, would be cool if she partialy was hungarian! 😃

What’s your insight on that ? I’m not into the Pista is Nathalie’s dad’s name but I’d like an opinion.

Okay so:

At first I thought Pista might be a hungarian origin too, but I'm not sure anymore, and here's why:

Pista is a nickname of a given name. Essentially if you are given the name István at birth, you can be called Pista, similarly to how Stephens get called Steve. By this alone, saving him by the nickname would make sense.

BUT

In Miraculous the phones list the contact names in the English/French/ common name order of: given name first, family name second. That would make Camilo Pista a guy with the family name Pista. Now that -- albeit it might exist -- is much less likely than having it as given name.

Camilo on the other hand is a very much existing given name of latin origin. And upon further searching pista is found to be an existing noun in some romance languages, for example portugese.

So it's entirely believable that someone has the given name Camilo and the family name Pista. Just as it's believable that she has the given name Pista (István), and the family name Camilo.

If he is a hungarian with given name Pista, his name was put into the phone incorrectly, but to be fair, we do that sometime to have our contact's names in the correct order for us. [Hungarian name order is different from english/french (and most of the world), our family name comes first, given name second.]

Tl;dr: May be a hungarian descent clue, maybe it's not. It does catch the hungarian eye, but that could disprov it as much as prove it.

I wanted to share a few tidbits about the larest episodes, because I kinda find it funny, that even when the episode is not about him, I think the creators still trolling us, referencing Gabriel in some way shape or form. Bit spoiler, if you havent seen these;

First, in The Chained Titans, Adrien gets the name Trionyx. Beside it could be a pun, breaking it down as tri-, meaning 3, as ir's being his 3rd kwami swap (not counting cat, he used the ladybug, the snake and now the turtle) and onyx, wich is a black gem (referencing both him secretly bring CN as well as his suit being very dark green). But Trionyx,as he explains, is alsi a genus ov turtles, shoft shell ones of that... Wich brings us to the reference, cause how do they look?! Yeah, and who's that associated with?! 🥞

Next, it's a bit more of a deep cut, so please, tell me if YOU got this😃in Riginarization !

So, to get this, we need to go back to 519 - Pretention, where the famous (at least for me and my pal whom I often discuss episodes) Marinette-Gabriel pancake scene. To refresh, in conclusion, Marinette tells Gabriel nobody likes his pancakes, because it's too dry, uses too much flour and not enought butter. I belive this is also a metaphore how he raises Adrien, as Emilie had blonde hair-> butter, and Gabriel, while had more, in the seria depicted mainly with white-ish hair-> flour.

And here comes my favorite stab to the character ... When Marinette asks if the dought is right, Ronald anwsers: "no, it's too thin, it needs flour"... I'm not 100% sure it was intentional, but feels very much so, that this implayes Marinette's LIES are too thin and see trough, so she needs to be more like Gabriel, to cover the story (this was heavely themed in Sadnansi, so...)
