5 hours sonicating my samples in this tiny room......I think I almost went crazy. My PI walked in on the last sample and asked me how long I'd been in there. So, obviously we need to tweak the settings. Yay, for more optimization.

This is true, but that actually has to do with the venues themselves. Clipping. has said many times that they try to play all-ages shows as often as they can, but that stipulation is decided by the venue (bars often require older). 

Given that this one’s in a museum, I doubt there’d be an age restriction.

Have you been to a clipping. show? They're playing in my town next year and I wanna go but I heard their shows can get wild. It's at a museum so I'm not overly worried but I'm still pretty young. What's the atmosphere at their sets?

I wouldn’t say “wild,” per say; more...energetic. People bouncing with their finger in the air. Sometimes a mosh pit might break out, but from what others who have commented have relayed, it’s not really that bad: check out the comments on this post for more of that. Given that your venue is a museum, that probably makes it far less likely to happen. Jumping & rapping along is more of the norm. And like any concert, it’s loud and general admission means you’re packed into a crowd.

But if you’re at all concerned about any of those things, just stay near the back. Make yourself more comfortable by staying away from the stage and the sardine-like crowd; hang by the back and just enjoy instead. :)
