“Day 7: Dogs 😣🐶”

Ouch! Looks like this long eared fella is having trouble for today’s Inktober artwork. You know what happens for any mailmen being chased by dogs from shows or animated shows. How about both dogs dressed themselves, but things aren’t going so well for Wilson.

🐶Wilson “Long Ears”: Oh, you think? I was minding my business til this dog suddenly bite my ears off! It hurts to getting yanked like that sometimes, sheesh! 😣

🐰Random Rabbit Girl: Ha ha! Look at him really gotten bite by a dog!

🦝Random Raccoon Girl: That’s not very nice. He did get hurt by that bad mail dog. Shoo! Go away! Are you okay, mister?

🐶Wilson “Long Ears”: I’m fine. My left ear does stings a bit, though.

🦝Random Raccoon Girl: It’s a good thing I’m dressing as a nurse for this year. Don’t worry, mister. I’ll take you to get some bandage wrapped around your ear.

🐶Wilson “Long Ears”: Don’t worry about me, but at least I’d appreciate to help me out. Unlike some people. 😒

🐰Random Rabbit Girl: Well It was just a joke to me.

🦝 Random Raccoon Girl: Well not for me, though. Come on, mister. Let’s see if my mom can give you a treat after we’ve patched you up.

🐶Wilson “Long Ears”: Definitely. 😉

(Note: Originally I’m supposed to included Socks from “Bluey” while dressed as the female mail dog. I’d personally liked where she’s walked on four legs in her youth; unlike some dog characters walked on two legs.)

oh right haven't talked about Normal Dog.

Normal Dog was born when a coworker said to me "you draw right? can you draw my dog?" I did not draw her dog but I did draw a Normal Dog, who is far superior. we wanted to show him to our other co-workers. this was the end of February, so I put him on the March page of the calendar with a note on the back instructing the finder to hide him somewhere new.

the game was officially on.

wordlessly, everyone got on board, upping the ante and creativity until we all started to live in constant suspense of where he would turn up.

inside an unused pill bottle. hidden in a regular client's chart. inside my personal box of girl scout cookies. inside the paper towel dispenser. at the bottom of the clinic cat's food bin.

he's become the Guardian spirit of the clinic, feared and beloved. I created him but I no longer control him. when the game ends he will surely be unleashed.

anyway I'm gonna make this a thread of good hiding spots, for posterity

my parents dog punkin is staying with us right now, and nothing has driven home how simple my life has become with only agatha to care for like this fucking dog. she refuses to eat from bowls (we don’t know why—this has developed in the past year), and at home will sometimes ignore her meals for hours. having some competition seems to help, so in the past she has eaten better while staying with us. no longer! i now begin my days sitting with her while she eats kibble off the floor (the cat’s leaf has been repurposed for this) and agatha watches from the other side of a gate. it’s the only thing that works.
