shakespearean symbols
so apparently i’m incapable of answering things without crowd-sourcing. norsedemigod asked me about symbols associated with popular shakespeare plays, for to put on posters. i got this far:
hamlet = yorick macbeth = dagger othello = handkerchief with strawberries midsummer night’s dream = donkey head the tempest = ship in storm merchant of venice = probably scales (the kind that weigh things) comedy of errors = twins (two sets preferably) twelfth night = a girl disguised as a boy as you like it = the seven ages of man, or maybe a tree henry v = a helm? king lear = the moor, the broken kingdom, three sisters, naked old man, the fool, i can’t pick one
part of it is a skewed view of which plays are popular. what have i missed?
oooh i love your glitch in the matrix story! Have you tried checking the hospital records
o: I never thought of that! I don’t even live in the same state anymore, so I don’t know about the status of the hospital, but I’ll see if I can’t get in touch with them. Maybe they could bring the whole ordeal to light.
idk if someone has said it yet but your icon is viria's art
please be kidding
how long after you sent the letter to Obama did you get the letter back? Just wondering. And since you hate all the attention you're getting from the president ill ask a game of thrones question: Do you prefer the books or the show?
books, totally the books, although i've only read through the middle of the third one. they books are great, much more mysticism and they didn't butcher dany's prophecy or jon snow's parentage clues
it took few months i think? to the point where i hadn't really been expecting a response
ooooh I absolutely love your rad but sad drawings
why thank you friend! :D i appreciate it <3

The questions:
1. What cartoon/ animated character you would no doubt marry?
Ehh… I'm not much for marriage, but if I had to choose… Lelouch Lamperouge from Code Geass. That guy is totally badass, leading the Black Rebellion twice against his own country… He might be the physically weakest character I've ever encountered, but that brain...
2. If you could play any character (books, tv) who would you want to play?
Sherlock Holmes. He's the best character in history (in my opinion of course)… But only if I could change my appearance. Otherwise it'll be just weird.
3. What’s that one song you listen to, and are ashamed to admit you like it?
I don't really listen to music :/ Sometimes when I'm bored I go to YouTube, listen to a random Linkin Park song, close the tab and continue to be bored… that's it.
4. What is a common fear (spiders, the dark) that you do not have?
That I don't have… Ask the other way around. I'm afraid of heights, but only if there is actually the possibility of me falling off :D For example I'm totally fine on a plane or on the top of the Empire State Building - put me on a cliff and I'll freak out.
5. Popular book you do not think lives up its hype
"Twilight" and "50 Shades of Grey". Nuff said.
6. What childhood movie do you still love to watch?
I guess I'd watch "Mary Poppins" again, but I haven't done that since I was 7 :/ Same for the animated movie adaptions of "Journey to the West" about Sun Wukong. The old ones!! I think the oldest one is from 1941… The new TV series adaption is rubbish -_-
7. Favorite quote from a tv show?
"What do we say about coincidence? - The universe is rarely so lazy."
I think we all know that it's the quote from "The Sign of Three" ;) I like it because it's an "original quote" and not an adaption of something from the books, but it still fits Doyle's style.
8. What’s a weird habit you have?
The beginning of a school day actually has a calculated schedule. That means I wake up everyday at a fixed time and I always do the same thing at the exact same minute. I've also been eating the same cereal for years. And I took the few minutes on tumblr into account (this is just sad -.-").
Another weird habit of mine is that I never open a book in an angle wider than 90°. It keeps the back of the book nearly perfect (it still gets damaged slightly if the book is a paperback and has 700+ pages).
9. Most annoying thing about a person you hate?
Argh >.< Our current physics teacher is so inconsiderate.
He can't explain anything and tells us we're stupid when we ask him to explain it again.
Also he uses fairytales to explain physics. "A world without energy is like the 100 years in Sleeping Beauty." WHAT THE FUCK AM I SUPPOSED TO DO WITH THAT???
He gives us 50 minutes in an exam with 9 questions or more (a, b, c, etc questions not included).
We've got a physical class register and my best friend and I have to look after it. He needs 5 minutes to write and we can't afford that, because we have to get the bus.
He's always 5 minutes late and dismisses class 5 minutes late.
And he's totally incompetent. I mean, what kind of physics teacher fries himself by touching a fucking high-tension power line??? A self-made one, no less! -_- He only survived because he touched both power lines with only one hand instead of two.
10. What is a word you think sounds disturbing?
The German word "Haferschleim". "Hafer" means "oat" and "Schleim" means "mucus". But the word itself means "oatmeal". I DON'T WANT A DISH ASSOCIATED WITH MUCUS OKAY -____-
11. A song you used to love but are sick of now?
Like I said, I don't really listen to music :/
For those who are tagged:
1. If you could be a part of a fictional family, which one would you choose?
2. Does the end justify the means?
3. Most disgusting thing you've ever eaten?
4. What's your favourite place in the world?
5. You have the power to kill a single person and it's guaranteed that the police wouldn't catch you. Would you do it? Why or why not?
6. A skill that you wish you had (singing, drawing, etc)?
7. If you could change a single plot point in only one book, what would you do?
8. Character that you wish had died, but didn't?
9. Which clichés about your nationality are true about you?
10. Do you think your native language is easy to learn?
11. You can travel back in time. Where would you go first?
