I really love to attach myself to the characters in media that aren’t popular/aren’t given a lot of material(?), because why out of any characters in the entirety of the my knight series am I sitting here thinking about the North Queens parents?

Lady, he murdered 500 of your soldiers in front of you! Who were there to protect you. I bet they are super appreciative of your flirting.
(It’s fine she decided to marry this dude for peace. But the fact that she doesn’t even have a moment of inner struggle or guilt or anything that she’s liking a man who kept murdering her citizens, she’s not even thinking about this topic one way or another is…where’s Robespierre when you need him!)
(Yes it says she’s bothered but on more general I am supposed to fancy someone else level, she hasn’t thought about her dead soldiers and that her husband to be murdered them and she should feel guilt for liking him ONCE!)
Not sure how many of y’all go here, but like.
Is the body of the North Queens deceased father still cooped up in the castle? Or did they like, pitch him during the kingdoms restoration process?
North Queen
okay so new book obsession! been meaning to read this series for a bit now because of someone I follow on Instagram. She's talked up these books so much and they seemed up my alley but I knew I wanted to read them in Winter.
The first book has me in a chokehold. I don't want to put it down. After my new Pride and Prejudice obsession, this was a welcome new series to get me hooked on to.
Some first thought's I've had and I'm almost halfway through the first book:
Norah: our fmc, damn I feel for her so badly I just wanna pick her up and take her away from everything
Alexander: hmm, he's blonde, I'm having a hard time picturing him in my head because I find mmc's in books I read are usually brown/black haired BUT THEN HOO WAIT THIS WAS MARKETED TO ME AS AN "enemies to lovers" AND HE'S NOT AN ENEMY AND HIS NAME IS SO BASIC IS HE NOT THE MMC!?
Cue "The Shadow King": oh here we go, I think I found him XD
