I feel like alot of the reasons people tend to villainize dream is because they fail to realize that he‘s genuinely just some guy.

He isn‘t the master manipulator some wanna paint him as, he‘s a 21 year old guy from florida who plays minecraft. Most of the things he does don‘t have some crazy agenda, most of his reactions, they aren‘t planned through to evoke some sort fo specific reaction.

He‘s literally just SOME GUY, not a disney villain.

i feel so much when i think about dream seemingly not understanding “simple” social cues and not understanding that he is wanted and welcome to be around his friends.

People think he’s being ridiculous or something but i swear that adhd really does a number on u in that regard. It’s not just anxiety related it’s just genuinely overthinking interactions like that so much you start thinking “oh well if they wanted me there they would have said something”

ESPECIALLY if it’s people you’re close to, cause those are the interactions that really matter. I know he might be coming off as unreasonable for thinking that but I truly do relate to that a ton.

I want y’all to think long and hard about why you would attack an artist you know DAMN well isn’t trying to fetishize anyone, when they draw feminine men.

Cause if you ask me it reeks of misogyny, as if femininity was inherently demeaning and weak. Maybe ask yourself first, why a man in a skirt seems so insulting to you before you start pointing fingers.

Seeing the manatreed chin picture has turned into a fucking jump scare, it’s like every time i see it my brain goes into full tinhat mode and I’m suddenly overanalyzing every pixel

My adhd ass was so intrigued by dream the second i heard of the guy and it makes so much sense cause somehow i keep finding people to hyperfixate on that also have adhd.

I think it’s probably cause i feel understood in some stupid way and the sheer fact that dream emphasizes alot that he doesn’t want his fans to feel embarrassed over their interests ... it’s all i’ve ever wanted to hear, as someone who feels alot of shame over the fact that i can’t help but obsess over all of my interests, despite being an adult.

I saw someone say they don’t get all the froy jokes cause they think dream would look more like fucking YUNG GRAVY and now with the recent hair and hair colour estimation I just can’t get that image out of my mind anymore. Just ... a golden retriever type of guy

Everytime I try to draw dream I always end up scrapping it in the end cause my idea of what he looks like doesn´t match the way the rest of the fandom draws him and it frustrates me cause it never feels right lol.
