I love how when diagnosed with ADHD, doctors don't tell you a lot of symptoms that occur as you get older and you have to find out through the Internet and licensed doctors online ☹️
I wasnt exactly told about how fatigue was an extremely normal thing with ADHD. On my own and taking advice from doctors, I have done everything I can think of to try and "fix" my problem with always being tired.
Exercising and Strength Training.
Going to bed early and getting 8 hrs of sleep.
Better diet/eating habits.
Melatonin to help me sleep better at night.
But it always ends up the same, I'm still fucking exhausted at the end of the day. I'm scared to confront the doc about this, because I know how it'll end.
Being prescribed with another pill, or being met with "well I can't exactly do anything for you".
I already take Adderall and Zoloft and man oh man those have side effects of their own I have to deal with, but I don't want to fuck around with side effects of another prescription. Did that in the past and it wasn't pleasant.
I'm probably just PMSing really bad and the mood swings are hitting really hard, but this feels like more than just the regular luteal phase symptoms.
