Belatedly informed that the current aggressive tack of dinbo anti-shippers is the sibling argument.

And that is valid. There have been plenty of ships, even popular ships, throughout the years that have worked better for me personally as sibling dynamic, or just being besties, et cetera. Just...maybe not the particular, word choice or imagery you wanna go with in a galaxy where literal siblings have made out. You just never know when your assumptions or expectations of where two people are headed are gonna be violently slapped in your face.
