Eyes narrowed as they locked onto a stranger that didn’t exactly seem to be much of a stranger to her, specifically. Laurel had to take a moment to make sure she wouldn’t be making a fool of herself by approaching somebody who truly hadn’t seen her face before, and she had to make sure she didn’t embarrass anybody else by putting them on the spot. If this was the girl she thought she was, though, then she knew she could find at least some comfort in knowing a familiar face for the first time in a while around Vegas.
The lack of entertainment in her life was truly getting to her now as Laurel found herself walking over to the blonde with only a slight bit of a pep in her step – she’d know that face anywhere. “Annie?” A name that Marley didn’t go by anymore, of course, but the only name Laurel had ever known her as. “Are you kidding me?” Said with a smile plastered across her lips, the actress nearly applauded herself for recognizing such an old friend. “When the hell did you get to Vegas and why didn’t I know you were here?” Don’t get her wrong – they weren’t absolute best friends. They weren’t even that close, but Marley was as close to normal as she got to feel in a long time a while ago. Maybe having her around would make the healing process far less strenuous and maybe even more fun.
