i'm not aro but i find it so annoying whenever i see a well-written, tight-knit friendship & people immediately jump to "they're dating/poly/qpr" like NO. they are FRIENDS. are we familiar with that concept? and it's getting to the point where i am genuinely afraid to write complex friendships because i don't want people to be like "oh this relationship is Too Meaningful to just be platonic" like no??? it's meaningful because it's platonic. ugh

in your post listing the six types of love, i dont think i’ve heard of sensual attraction as something separate from sexual attraction. Could you explain that a little? I’m kinda curious :3

sensual attraction is a desire to have close contact with a person, usually skin-to-skin. it's often conflated with sexual attraction because a huge part of sex is getting intimately close with your partner, but you don't have to have sex to be intimate. things like cuddling, hugging, random touches, and more can fulfill sensual attraction without sex. (personally one of my dreams is to get all of my friends in one big shark pile)

And idk, sometimes it feels hard to explain to potential new partners. Or they assume because I'm asexual/aegosexual that I don't want romance or that I don't have any aesthetic attraction.

Pride Month Patch Tutorial: Pronoun Text

This year I’ve created five cross-stitch patterns designed for use with a variety of LGBTQIA+ pride flags, including the trans, genderqueer, non-binary, agender and demigender flags.

Each pronoun pattern is available in three scale variants: he/him, she/her, they/them, it/its and ze/hir. With the use of my cross-stitch alphabets, however, they can be adapted and modified for any pronoun set expressible in the Roman alphabet possessing a three, four, five, six, seven, ten or twelve-striped flag.

This tutorial includes sixteen cross-stitch text charts/patterns plus a guide to adapting said patterns for other pronoun sets.

I have more free queer cross-stitch tutorials and patterns available, including "pride" text patches, flag stripe hearts and "queer" text patches designed for a-spec pride flags. Other LGBTQIA+ text patterns are available at my pattern gallery, for folks who want to go all out in declaring our existence.

I know I should be all for ace positivity and I am. But, I really wish I wasn't.

Sick of partners telling me they're okay with it but finding out they actually just thought they could change me, that it would be different for them. Sick of finding the love of my life but because I'm asexual it just doesn't work. Sick of being in sexual situations and thinking I'm okay but I just get overwhelmed and I can't, and feeling like I'm leading them on. Sick of suddenly feeling so so disgusting after or during something even mildly sexual and it just can't get out of my head.

Sick of not being normal.

I need a laptop to work and attend school, but I am disabled and unable to go to a physical workplace due to pain and exhaustion and being half-transitioned makes me scared to anyway. The job market for online jobs in my area is abysmal. There are only call-worker jobs and I don't have a phone number because I can't afford a phone bill, and I cannot afford my own groceries. I'm sure I can manage on my own, but would you mind if I made a donation post? I need about $300 more for the laptop, maybe a less if I can. After that, I can figure it out.
