Last night my wife asked if I knew piglatin. I figured I would give it a try because our children were in the room and I wanted to know what she had to say. She proceeded to say something and I said oh yeah let's pencil that in for later(assuming she wanted sexy time) .... Turns out she just wanted cake.

My favorite stupid thing I do is I see a post in Spanish and for a solid five seconds I just believe I forgot how to read. Then I realize I don’t know Spanish… 🫠

I’m half Polish but I never actually learned the language, so now the only things I can say are *yells* bóbr kurwa, and życie jest bez sensu i wszyscy zginiemy. Thanks internet :)

When you forget what language you're speaking, so you accidentally recommend the "chocolate cat" instead of the "chocolate cake."

i usually mix my english and spanish together, so if you see spanish words im sorry; but im not fluent or can say a sentence in spanish tragically

It makes me happy to know that there are certain situations in which my reflex is to speak in French.

Like my dad and I were walking in shade and a gust of wind blew and I immediately: « Il fait froid! Il fait froid. » as I ran for the sunlight.

I also say «beaucoup» way more often than I say “a lot”.

Plus I sometimes just sit there thinking about how I would say something in french for no particular reason except that I’d rather be saying it in french.

And sometimes when I’m texting my parents I text them small phrases in french, like «je suis à la bibliothèque» because it’s just how I feel like speaking in that moment, even though they know absolutely no french.

I also say «merci» if I’m thanking someone absentmindedly. I’m kinda worried I’ve confused some people with that.
