is it more accessible to add image ID under an image or use the Tumblr alt text feature? thank u!

It's more accessible to add it directly under the image!

Not only are there some bugs that cause alt text to disappear, but some people that use image descriptions prefer to not have them read aloud by a screenreader (such as those who are partially visually impaired, can't easily recognize facial expressions, etc.). It also increases awareness of image descriptions to have them visible in the post!
