They fist bump. Regularly. Sometimes, without words, just… they exchange an affectionate glance, the sentiment unspoken (“yo, man, it’s so awesome that we get to be here? together? and in love?”) and they just tenderly bump their knuckles together (“oh my god yeah dude”)
Sometimes it’s acknowledgement of a good chirp. A “fair enough.” A “yeah ok punch it in, that was funny”
They don’t think this is odd until Jackie and Hayden see them do it and are like uhhhhh what?
Ilya and Shane are confused. “You don’t fist bump? Ever?” No, that’s weird. Ask anyone. Cassie and Bood? No. Dykstra and Caitlin? Nope. Wyatt and Lisa? Nah (but Wyatt thinks they should actually).
Okay, fine. Maybe this is a straight couple no-no, they think.
Scott Hunter looks at them they’re murderers when they ask. Harris and Troy exchange a confused look before shaking their heads, their hands clasped together but not bumping.
Ryan and Fabian actually LOL at the concept of fist bumping.
They eventually cave and ask Yuna if this is normal and she’s just like “Since when have you two been normal about each other?” Which, like. Fair enough.
They continue to fist bump. The public is alternately charmed and confused.
