after taking the longest break ever from it (between book 2 & 3, for at least a couple years) I have finally finished the Thornchapel series. I reread 1 and 2 and then *demolished* 3&4 in two days. furious that there seems to be zero fanfics of it on AO3, this feels like a crime and I am being robbed

Bruce and Clark are like those friends who are hilariously close and physical but there’s nothing about it they both have romantic relationships, Clark has Lois and Bruce has Selena among other recurring lovers, but their best friend is Their Guy and they’re not ashamed of it.

Anon! <333 I owe Watchdom a huge debt of gratitude for getting me writing in the first place, and then for encouraging me through the sentence fragments and dubious characterisation decisions that were my baby-steps. They’re good folk. I’m waiting in horrified delight to see their thoughts on this HBO series should it pan out, and even more horror over what contemporary fandom will make of it. :D
