Screen cap from Jenny LeClue, a very cute indie game with fun murder mystery and retrofuturism elements:
Who's the blonde proclaiming ACAB? A 12ish year old Weird Horse Girl who is sweet and popular and also basically a super science genius. Her name is Suzie, and I'm rooting for her. Her parents want her to choose between femininity and being super smart, but Suzie has got herself some serious Elle Woods internal motivation. If Einstein couldn't rock eyeliner, that's his problem.
She isn't even the main character, in fact, the main character is her cousin and a bit of a shithead. You gotta cut Jenny LeClue some slack though, because of reasons that are spoilers. For the parents of teens reading this, the ways in which the protagonist is Annoying are strongly echoed in her mother, so if you've ever looked at your kid and been like, why the fuck are you like that, and then Realized... Yep.
But yeah, you got the gumption to cheese it on your pink scooter? Good for you, kid. Sorry about your abrasive cousin taking the steering wheel from you though.
I definitely recommend this game. This is pretty clearly a Suzie Glatz appreciation post, but all of the characters are a lot of fun. There are a few technical issues that are annoying and should be fixed in an upgrade, and the ending is a pretty half-assed cliffhanger, but the world built into the story is a lot of fun.
