So I just came up with this headcanon concerning Trip and Notacon, the mutant he befriended in "Trip Takes a Stand". (Contains spoilers for the finale.)

After the events of "The End of Time", as Ransik is no longer a threat and humans and mutants are now allowed to live in peace, Trip realizes that Notacon, who didn't want to harm anyone and was only arrested for something he did out of necessity, didn't have to be in cryogenic prison anymore. After talking about it with Nadira, the two decide to unfreeze Notacon together.

This time, the first thing Notacon sees after being unfrozen is Trip kindly extending his hand to him and whispering "Welcome back." After being told of what happened while he was frozen, Notacon is so happy he starts tearing up and hugs Trip as tightly as he can. Afterwards, Notacon moves in with Trip and Circuit, and starts looking up to Trip as a big brother figure.
