i so feel your pain on the can't-reblog-what-if-its-ai thing... even though i feel like i'm mostly careful to weed out ai cc, i haven't been able to post a build in months because i get so anxious that maybe someone else is going to spot something they know is made with ai and think that i downloaded it on purpose ;_;

yes!!! tysm for sharing, u sweet lil thing. that’s so valid 🥺🖤 i hope both of us can be kinder to ourselves about it soon. i feel like it’s getting both easier and harder to tell at the same time??? like i genuinely try and do a reasonable assessment of what i’m reposting and i have a blacklist of super problematic creators to avoid who have used AI without notifying their paying followers and never addressed it/responded poorly to being called out for it... but i still feel like such a bad person when i go look at someone’s blog just to double-check that it’s not a new account using prompts in chatgpt to generate images and post them for clout before i like or reblog their stuff 😭 bc 98% of the time, it’s actually a talented lil angel who worked so hard on that content and they are so fucking cool so then it's like

idk part of me also believes in learning from our mistakes tho and it’s bc so much ai slop has been introduced into this community that i can usually identify those posts straight away or tell when something’s off. like i know so many of u put out actual masterpieces built from ur own shaders in cas or using editing software from in-game screenshots that look so good, they might seem ai-generated to the untrained eye 🥺 but my clock-and-block game was on point for so long, it’s just exhausting...i don’t want to be suspicious of a community i love so much but i also don’t want to engage with ai slop or dl/repost something i don’t believe in and disappoint anyone, u know??
