My lovely friend Becca has been running her blog: www.NotDeprived.com for a few months now and through it she has provided loads of gluten free recipes, which are also free from many other bad things, to people like me who are always looking for tasty GF options. Becca lives with her husband Kirk and two boys in Chatham, Ontario in Canada.
Tim and I have got to know this lovely family over the last few years as they've been going to a church in Chatham where Tim's dad, Gord, is the pastor. I have had the personal pleasure therefore of eating some of Becca's delicious baking and cooking products and I can highly recommend them and therefore her recipes!
Recently I set Becca a challenge as I have a friend, Jo, who has found out that she is intolerant to a whole host of different foods and is really struggling to find good food to eat, particularly desserts. Becca took up the challenge and recently featured Jo and I on her blog as she showed the results of her challenge. You can read her blog by following this link: http://www.notdeprived.com/2013/08/peach-crumble-allergen-free.html#.Uiy5OeChC5S. Becca already had a few recipes that she could recommend but she formulated one especially for us in the form of a peach crumble.
This past week Tim and I went to spend an evening with friends for dinner at their home. I saw this as a perfect opportunity to try out the crumble recipe and as you can see from the picture below it was a resounding success...no leftovers!!
You should definitely check out Becca's blog and also the you tube videos that she posts showing step by step how to make the dishes she features. You should also DEFINITELY make this peach crumble, whether or not you can eat gluten!
