✉️ – a caring note with Red please?
You found the note on the fridge, held up with a goofy magnet shaped like a mustard bottle with googly eyes. Giggling, you read it.
Hey, sweetheart. Just wanted to say I mustard done something real good to get great datemate like you. Olive you. (Check in the fridge.)
You grinned and tucked the note in your pocket. Then you opened the fridge. Sure enough, there were some olives in there, right next to a bottle of your favorite drink. Both of them had googly eyes on them.
‘Note’ for Garnet
My muse has died. Send ‘note’ for a goodbye letter my muse wrote to yours as a precaution, in case something, like it has, should happen
Peridot,
I never wanted to write this letter, but a distant possibility alarmed me enough to make me want to get my thoughts down. If you’ve found this, then that future has come to pass. And I apologize for not telling any of you about it. I didn’t want to worry you. Or for whatever time we had left to feel as though everyone was looking at me differently.
I’d like to start by saying how proud I am of you. When we first met, I never would have guessed that you’d become one of my closest friends. Even with future vision. But you grew. You showed me how capable you were, and I grew to greatly enjoy your company. I’ll never forget the day you became a Crystal Gem. You made me so proud.
I’d also like to apologize. We never got the chance to try and fuse again, and I feel like we would have actually been successful this time around if we had tried. But time slipped away from us. As it’s keen to do. I want you to keep doing the things you love even without me, though. Keep spending time with Amethyst. Keep getting better with your metal powers. Keep being you. Because you are an amazing Gem and bring such a light to the team. Never forget that.
A few more things before I close out. First, please take care of Steven, Pearl, and Amethyst for me. I know that’s a lot. They’re going to be devastated when I’m gone, though, and someone needs to be there for them. Bismuth, too, of course. If you can, try to keep the team together. I’ll understand if you can’t do it constantly. But I trust you to look out for them.
Second, in regards to Lapis. Please give her a chance. I know she ran away at the first sign of trouble before, but I have a good feeling that she won’t do that again. I know it also will take time to rebuild that trust with her. Just promise me you’ll give it a chance.
Finally... Cat-Steven. Please, please take care of her for me. She’ll need a friend when I’m not there.
Thank you again for everything, Peridot. I’m so grateful I got to meet you, and that we got to spend time together. I’m also grateful for how you helped with my wedding. I’ll never forget that.
And always remember, I’ll always exist in one way or another. Even though I’m split apart for good now. Love is all around us, after all, and remember. I’m made of it.
Sincerely, Garnet
"You caught me in the middle of changing! But thank you @ask-kurusu-joker! That's so sweet of you." He lets out a soft laugh.

note (trish)
for a letter jessica left for trish in case she died:
✉️ – a worried note with fairytale Lucky? Need to get those mobtale Bois in here
You had to force yourself not to touch your pocket as you walked away from the Hall of Records. That was one of the rules the lads had taught you--if you want people to know you’ve got something you shouldn’t, touch your pockets. The fifteen-minute walk back to your father’s shop felt like an age. You had to force yourself not to run. That was another rule. Don’t want to look suspicious? Walk like you’re just doing it for the fun of it.
At last, though, you made it. You nodded at your father at the counter and the customers in the store. “I’m not feeling well, Papa,” you said. “I’m going to go lie down for a bit.”
Your father nodded. The customers ignored you. You made your way up the wooden steps to your room. Still don’t run. Don’t think that because you’re in your own home that you can relax. If there are strangers there, you’re not safe.
At last, you reached your attic bedroom. You closed the door and slid the lock into place. Only then did you allow yourself to reach into your pocket and pull the book out again. A page slid out of it and fluttered toward the floor. You reached out and caught it. It was a note.
Dearest,
I know. I know, I’ve asked you this before. But I feel I have to ask it one more time. Are you sure you want to do this? If you do, you will be in danger and I may not be able to protect you. Please, if you have even a hint of a doubt, just bring the book back. We can find someone else for this.
I wish I could be there with you, saying this in person. I wish I could hold you. I’m worried that I may never be able to see you again. If you do this and it goes wrong...Darling, please just consider.
I love you. I love every part of you, including the brave part of you that makes you want to do dangerous things like this. I know I won’t be able to change your mind. If you must do this, please be careful.
I love you, my darling, my songbird, my soulmate. Please be safe.
All my love,
Lucky
You folded the note carefully and clutched it to your chest. But you had to do this. You had to save those monsters. With Ray gone, you were the only one who could. You lay back on your bed and closed your eyes, wishing Lucky was there with you. He was right. You might never see him again. But how could you face him if you didn’t do what was right?
New determination swept through you and you sat up again. The code in the book wasn’t going to solve itself.
