I am expert at NYC subway and sidewalk crying

inherent joy ⚖ predilection: angst 💀🏆

The weight of the air in my lungs

when I'm within seconds

of completely losing my shit.

Erupts up and out in gasps

and gulps

tears brinking as a hand flies up

to stop it all from overflowing

and overpouring

down the front of my coat

all over the subway floor

up the stairs

a puddle of it at my feet as I wait for a friend

I don't want to dump this on them
