I love my brain. With the tape measure not holding its length and being clumsy to use alone, I thought, “Do I have any tool handles that are the right length?” I did not. What I did have was a metal pipe used for garden supports and blue spray paint. (For tape I would have to take off my muddy boots and go hunting further inside the house.) With the painted pole I now I have an easy marker. Top line is exactly 5’. Bottom line is 4’6” as the cinderblocks against the fence are 6” wide. Now all I have to do is lay down the pole to lay down the support wall cinderblocks for the shed nook to keep the shed exactly 5’ away from the property line as the town code demands. 👷🥇

Do not feel guilty. You getting tested and staying home is PROTECTING your coworkers. If one of your coworkers was in your position you wouldn’t tell them to feel guilty right? Cause it’s a good thing you’re doing and a responsible thing.

It says so much about the world we live in that we feel this guilt whenever we take care of ourselves and those around us. I've had days, laid out with a full chest cold and I still find myself bargaining with my boss that IF I feel better, maybe I only need to take a half day? And that was before covid! **hugs** You are doing the right thing!!! xo

11) Character that deserves better?Tina (: She was just used as a joke until she was thrown away, then brought back as a joke. Also obviously Quinn, constantly, through the whole show. She’s the queen of Deserved Better 12) Character that got more than they deserved? Rachel lmao. She blew her audition (twice!), got like three shots to get into NYADA, dropped out to pursue her Broadway career, got bored, went to do tv, that didn’t work so eventually she goes BACK to NYADA. It’s just too much like come on. I’ve said it a million times, Carmen says she doesn’t give second chances but Rachel can get in/come back like... five times. Alright 

26) Ship you used to dislike but now like?Samchel. Like I hated when they sprung it on us in s5-6 but looking back, I realize I really liked their friendship up until that point so why not??

Thank you for the millionth time @notenoughtogivebread for mentioning how wonderful your farm share (CSA) is over the years. Last year I finally caved (a pandemic and wanting safer food and getting of food was the last push I needed.) This is my second year and today I got a voucher for a free quart of U-pick blueberries. It was hot as hell out there and I’m probably sunburned, but you really can’t get fresher than these. They’re going to be perfect with the no bake cheesecake I made this morning.

Over the years I’ve complained about how ugly and crappy our naively bought As Is house is and continues to be because we can’t afford all of the repairs. Here’s an example of the ugly.

We were able to get 4 of 12 rolls old film developed by a place in CA that specializes in such. (They credited us for what didn’t come out.) This is part of the kitchen 23 1/2 years ago. The wallpaper is blue with little flowers and pink ribbon and is over fake cream colored tile with red “grout.” The wallpaper we later stripped away and painted white. What’s still there is the green and gold linoleum the previous owners had paired the wallpaper with.

ETA: I see that the little pink ribbons on the wallpaper didn’t show up. Trust me, they were there. I will never forget that wallpaper.
