失敗作の傑作 / A Masterpiece in Failure
LYRICS;
The one thing probably Worst about making music is that sometimes i get my own songs stuck in my head
//Don't mind this, just posting it for safe keeping. You can read it if you want.
At this point in the story, everyone has been traveling together for quite some time and gone on all the adventures and stuff. Everything seemed normal until....
The Master: “Is this thing on? Hello, hello. Hello.” “There we are, nice and patchy, suppose it'll do.” He walks into the console room, grinning like a child, hands behind his back wearing that cursed hoodie, “D'you know it takes a while to poison the TARDIS? Sure I can turn it into a paradox machine, but poisoning! Oh! That's another story.” He turned at the heel, extending his arms at the place, “The perfect timing, for this exact moment.” Snapping his fingers, just as the fumes began to leak into the air, “And that's not all, I've had the vapors suffusing through the air for days, on a very minimal scale so none of you could sense it, you're already half infected by now.” He nods approvingly looking up at the console, clapping for himself, “Oh come on, don't I get an applause? Controlling the weak TARDIS from the outside since I've managed to override it in the inside, well worth the wait.” He let out a disappointed sigh, “Did you really believe I was playing a good boy?” Shaking his head with a mocked sad face, “Certainly not you River, I expect better. But then again, I did manage to bypass you as well, haven't I? I've accessed ultimate admission to the TARDIS core, we'll see how that plays out! Nighty night! Lights out!” His voice drowning out as the room goes black filled by The Master's laughter. Tenth Doctor: "Master, this is the last straw!" He practically growled, hurrying out but froze at the darkness. "I told them it wasn't a good idea, I said it, but nooo, let's give him a chance." He sighed, running a hand through his hair, causing it to stick up in every way possible but started his way to the console room. Captain Jack: "That son of a bitch, I knew it." Jack muttered, coming out and into the hall, frowning at the darkness. "Real mature." Clara Oswald: Clara looked up with wide eyes as she heard the familiar voice over the intercom. She had heard stories about the Master but the man himself had seemed so.... different. Maybe a little grouchy. Not quite evil sadistic mad man. But that voice, that voice was enough to strike some fear into her, real fear and for the first time something inside of her knew that he was capable of all those stories. That they weren't just stories. Infected? What did that mean.... and then all the lights went down. She stood up and stumbled forward to her doorway in the dark. River Song: River listened intently, flinching slightly at her name. She sat up for a moment before getting up and hurrying out, despite the darkness. She let her hand against the wall guide her to the console room, but suddenly feeling weak. Tenth Doctor: "To think ALL of this could've been avoided, if SOMEONE listened to me for once.." The Doctor sighed, but his concern was mostly on the others at this point. His room was farther than he'd really want at this point and started to make his way carefully. Clara Oswald: "Anyone? hello?" she called out as she stepped into the corridor, her eyes still not properly adjusted to the dark. The Master: The Master sat cross-legged over the console, looking quite comfortable there in the dark, just the loom of the dim light produced by the console itself so that his figure was illuminated. "Hello!" He returned the call upon hearing a distant voice from a ways off. Captain Jack: "Clara!" Jack nearly sighed with relief, hurrying down the corridor towards her blindly. "Clara, you all right?" He asked, trying to see better. Clara Oswald: She span towards the sound of her own name, it came from the opposite direction to the /other/ reply, she really wouldn't like to admit how much it scared her. She put her hands out to figure out where Jack was "I'm fine, freaked out but fine, how about you?" she asked. River Song: River coordinated herself down the hall with ease, her hand tracing along the cold wall to direct her. She came to the entrance of the console room and froze a little at the figure. Captain Jack: He had done the same with his hands and found her eventually. "I'm all right.." He sighed. "I really wish we hadn't trusted him. Doc's probably having a fit at this point." The Master: Tilting his head back and forth for a while he caught sight of a woman, making out the figure to be, "Why isn't it the one and only, River Song!" He exclaimed, jumping down from his position without much effort. Clara Oswald: "I know, I didn't realise... We have to find the others. I don't want to stick around and figure out what being infected means." she said. Captain Jack: "Gotcha, I'm sure Doc'll come along this way from his room..." Jack puffed his cheeks out in thought, his eyes attempting to adjust to the darkness. River Song: River stared at his figure, trying to make out in the darkness just how much of a distance was really between them but only took a few more steps into the room. "Don't sound happy to see me." There was no expression in her voice, unlike herself. She normally liked to keep a rather cheerful tone to herself, even in times of danger, but she didn't even recognize her own voice in that moment. Tenth Doctor: "Oh, you're darn right I'm coming down this way." He huffed, making his way down the corridor to where Jack and Clara were, following their voices carefully. "What. Did. I. Say. Hm? I SAID to not trust him!" Captain Jack: "Easy, Doc.. I know, I'm upset too. I had a bad feeling this would happen, but we've gotta get there now, all right? Just.. easy tiger." The Master: He craned his head at a different angle trying to make her words out, certainly a different approach from all he's seen from her while traveling, "Oh? Is that so?" He grinned nonetheless, folding his hands behind his back standing in the same position. Clara Oswald: She raised her hands "Ok, so, bad move then. Doctor was right. Can we please do something about whatever the hell is slowly poisoning us? I feel like that’s a priority." River Song: "I'm afraid it is." She approached him fearlessly then, having difficulty seeing him clearly but could make out a bit of his features. "All along. It was a trick. All those lies you've said then, of how you tried to be good, how you kept me company, how you actually protected us at points?" She felt herself heat up, the anger rising in her voice as she spoke. "Everything was just.. fake?" She practically spat the last word as if she was disgusted. Tenth Doctor: "Course I'm right! Course I was RIGHT now to trust this bloke!" He groaned, coming to both of them. "Come on, we're figuring a way out now." Captain Jack: "Please do, lead the way, Doc." He sighed, starting to fall into line and followed the Doctor's footsteps. Aware of Clara, he grabbed her hand and pulled her along to help. The Master: He yawned softly before lifting his head back up curiously, "Wha— Oh right," He smirked, "When you put it all that way, yes, it was all fake." He crossed his arms proudly with that confident grin placed over his features, "Not to mention you fell for it." He simply had to remind her, rub it in all their faces, "I think I hear company." Though it was a bit far off, he knew the rest were coming, eventually. Clara Oswald: "I was nothing to do with that choice." she hastened to add, grateful to have a hand to hold, she wasn't so brilliant with walking in the dark, particularly in a ship that didn't like her. River Song: She glanced over at the darker side where the entrance was and heard, before turning back to the Master. "There are reasons why people would fall for that sort of thing. Something you would never understand. You could've been with us, all of us, a friend. But you just threw that all away." Captain Jack: "Don't... he's fumed at this point, there's no way to communicate with him. Or at least properly and peaceful." He muttered to her. Tenth Doctor: "Oh, no, it's FINE Jack, because ALL the others are going to tell me that it's not their faults either, WELL! IT IS!" He picked up the pace a bit. The Master: "But don't you see! That's all too boring." He couldn't deny that he had a bit of fun traveling with the group, but he simply didn't belong, this is what he was meant for, destruction, chaos, war, an internal war with himself. He shook his head, "No, you don't get it." By now his voice had become coarse, throwing his hands over his head, "They won't stop! Never, ever stop! Not even when I'm with you!" He shook his head again, softly this time, hopelessly, his eyes empty, just for a second, just half a second before they darkened, a grin reappearing on his face, "It's just too bad, isn't it? I don't care about your little band, why would I be friends with you lot?" Clara Oswald: She ignored Jack's comment, slightly annoyed by the Doctor's attitude. "Sorry Mr.Clever..." she stopped talking briefly remembering where that name had originated from "we can't always be right." Tenth Doctor: He took a wrong turn and muttered something unintelligible under his breath, turning and going down another way quickly. Captain Jack: He held back a chuckle, biting his lip and followed the Doctor still, pulling Clara into the direction swiftly. Clara Oswald: She rolled her eyes and followed along. River Song: She listened to him, holding a straight face as she stared up at him. "Why? Because we're all you have left. We've listened to you. We've helped you and you've helped us as well." She hated the sound of her voice, the way the desperate sound clashed with her anger. It was almost tear-worthy but she kept herself together with ease. "Maybe you just don't get it.." Tenth Doctor: He eventually reached the entrance of the console room, his eyes making out the two figures in the room with great difficulty. The Master: He laughed at her, her words, her thoughts, "No.." He scratched the back of his head in thought, "I don't need you, any of you." He leaned forward propping himself right in front of the woman daring her to move, "I've been waiting so- so long for this moment." A wild smile flashing over his features, "You don't still believe in my little act, do you?" He scanned her eyes for a moment, "Oh, you do. Let it go!" He was pleased by her stiffness, the strict level of her voice, oh how he was waiting for it to break. River Song: River relaxed her features, letting herself go for a moment before she let her hand go across his face daringly and rather harshly. She couldn't find words to explain, so.. that was all she could think of at that moment, sadly. Better than nothing. Captain Jack: Though it was rather difficult to see, he could make out the figures and see what had happened, unable to hold back a grin. At least someone did it. Clara Oswald: She wasn't sure if it was her mind or not but breathing was becoming just that little bit more difficult. Not too noticeably but just enough to make her nervous. She saw the slap and raised her eyebrows "well... he did ask for that" she muttered. Captain Jack: "Asking for a loooooot more than a slap." He replied under his breath, quietly. The Master: His face followed with the hand letting his head stay down and angled away, suddenly then he began to laugh, "It's so real isn't it? Me standing here? Doesn't it feel so real, look so real?" By now the hallucination drug had kicked in, full blast and ready, disoriented reality. His figure fuzzed lightly, a hologram, "Oh come now, you don't really think I'd put myself here? Without a mask even?" He furrowed his brow in amusement, "That'd be all too dangerous for my health." He teased as his shape fuzzed lightly again, "I'm not actually here." River Song: She felt dazed for a moment, blinking several times. Her eyes searched him for a moment. Hatred, no, sadness filled her for a moment. Dread. She couldn't pull herself to the hatred, she wouldn't be able to even if she tried. "You..." was all she managed to say, struggling too much to keep her mind straight at that moment. "You're a sick man." She managed out eventually, taking a few steps back to the railing and held herself up with it. Captain Jack: "God damn, I hate this guy." He muttered, looking to the Doctor. Tenth Doctor: He watched intently, furious still about his TARDIS but felt weak, his hand holding himself up with the wall as he watched. He regained himself and stepped into the room, squinting to see better. "Master." The Master: He turned suddenly, pulling up a new grin, "Ah! Doctor! Glad you can join us!" He spoke with glee, tilting his rad to the side catching sight of the other two, "As for the Captain and the girl as well." He left the woman to stand by the Doctor looking him over up and down, "Ooh you don't look too good, you need a doctor." He smirked leaning over the weak man. Clara Oswald: She was breathing more loudly now as her thoughts were getting blurry round the edges.

Basically what happens here is just more of the Master’s taunting, mainly with the Doctor while everyone passes out.
