Outside definitions
The same person has described me as "lying/misleading selfish cheater who does not care about other people and lacks empathy," as well as "nice, kind, and caring." and it wasn't like it was one before and the other next making it just a change in perspective. Instead, it varies based on how much our values collide and whether or not I had (intentionally or not) hurt that person's feelings.
Accusations of lack of empathy used to make me want to seek outside validation, proof that I wasn't a complete psychopath, now I've learned to put two together and see how they're all said in an unstable state of mind. That got me thinking that to what degree we can trust it when people claim their exes or associates etc are narcissists or sociopaths or the like? Sure they've probably wronged them real bad, only narcissists and psychopaths throw such labels around for no reason, but the thing is this : "normal people" can be total assholes as well without any hint of stigmatizing personality disorder at all.
If I let other define my persona, I'd be narcissistic psychopath, which - according to all the medical professionals who have diagnosed me - I'm not.
(I'm not bitter but fuck false accusations xD like at least ppl if you wanna badmouth, blame, or just get mad at me then do it for the right motherfucking reasons ffs)
Long story short; don't let other people tell you who you are. You know yourself best, believe in it, and fuck the haters. Peace out.
