Weak Hero Class is based on a web novel of the same name. Season 1 is the prequel and backstory for the protagonist, Yeon Si-eun. Season 2 is where the story begins, starring a larger cast of character. Season 2 new additions are Ryeo Un, Lee Jun-young, Choi Min-young, Lee Min-jae, Bae Na-ra, and Yoo Su-bin. in this chapter, i write about the plot of whc, with the addition of saemi's character ahn suha, and also behind the scenes filming whc 1 and 2. be sure to check out everything with a link!

okay, so now in this drama, everything is kept the same as the original but instead, the main protagonists are yeon sieun and ahn suha, played by park jihoon and do saemi.

suha and suho are twins, suha used to attend an all-girls school til she got into a fight—her vs 17 other girls—which got her expelled and none of the other girls school would accept her, so she joined her twin brother's school. when she first transfered, some of the boys tried to flirt with her but her brother shut them down. suho was well-known in their school for being an ex-mma fighter, and suha was known to also be an ex lethwei (explained) and muay thai fighter, which is why she won her 1 v 17 fight.

suha got into that fight because she was fed up with the bullying that kept happening in her school—in a way she was like baku, but she was unsuccessful because she won the fight but got expelled. while baku was able to maintain eunjang and keep them from fighting. suha, suho and baku parallel each other. but the difference was, suha fought soley for sieun, suho fought for suha, and baku fought for eunjang.

during their first meeting, when suho got caught up in that fight with the baseball guys, when he was about to get attacked from behind, we were introduced to suha as she deflected the bat that was aimed at suho, in the process she pushed sieun's desk making his pencils fall. when she sat back down to her seat, she looked at the person who sat behind her—yeon sieun, staring at her, when she stared back, suho pointed out that it was her fault his stuff was on the floor, she apologised and set them back on his table. while suho and suha were bickering about lunch, suho who dragged a chair to suha's desk, sieun from behind just stared—eyes flickering between the twins.

suha is a natural flirt—she would keep flirting with sieun, while suho would just look at her in disgust. sieun would just blankly stare at her. he would often judge the twins as they stuffed their face with food or when they bickered constantly, quietly telling them they were too loud. and sieun would keep the lights off in the morning when he saw suho and suha sleeping in the classroom. and when beomseok ran to suha, asking her to help sieun, she did so immediately, suho tried to stop her saying it's none of her business. but being stubborn, she brushed him off and followed beomseok. suho reluctantly followed, worrying for his twin.

and when the twins went to work at the restaurant, suha pulled sieun aside to clean up his wounds, suho'd just shook his head at them—bickering with her saying how she was slacking off. when the four of them were eating, while beomseok eagerly copied suho, suho made another wrap and shoved it in suha's mouth, prompting her to complain that he hadn't washed his hands, and she made sieun a wrap before feeding him it without thinking.

another moment between sieun and suha was when she complain how chapped sieun's lips were, so she made him sit on the desk, while she applied her chapstick on his lips, getting so close he could feel her breath on his face. sieun just intently stared at her face being so close. and when she locked eyes with him, and saw that his eyes flickered down to her lips, time froze for them. with her standing between his legs, him looking up at her with those eyes— well before suho interrupted them. or the scene when sieun ran off to follow the guy, and suha instinctively followed him, and when it came to— suha exhaustedly exclaimed how crazy he was and why would he follow him, sieun just simply said with labored breathing 'you came', that only made suha scoff and smile, joking how he was taking advantage of their friendship now.

or the moment when suha and suho were on his motorbike, and they ran into sieun on the bus—suho made a comment of how they kept running into each other and that sieun and suha must have been married in a past life. which made her slap his back, mumbling to not make sieun uncomfortable. but suho noticed the looks sieun would give suha, there was something soft in his eyes when he looked at her. like how there was slight amusement in his eyes when she ate, or when he let her borrow his gym uniform when she sweat through her uniform.

and or the first time they ran into each other was when she—literally ran into him. she was on her morning run to school (while suho was still at the part time job), she didn't notice him and she ran directly into sieun, causing her to cage sieun against the wall, and they just stayed like that while staring intently into each other eyes—entranced, until sieun suddenly blinked and asked 'what are you doing?' his voice softened, which shocked him at how soft he sounded—and didn't go unnoticed by her. suha, snapping out of her daze quickly apologized, clearly flustered stepping back and rushing off before sieun could say anything else.

and during the hospital visit, when suho was in the hospital bed and sieun had brought him food, suha made a joke teasing suho, which made sieun crack a smile. the twins completely froze—mid fight stared in disbelief that—not only was he smiling but also laughing, he couldn't hide his amusement anymore. suha—who was still staring with hearts in her eyes made a comment that he looked more handsome when he smiled, which he surprisingly flirted back mumbling 'it's only for you', which the twins caught, and suho stared at them suspiciously and accusatoryingly (? is that a word). suha loudly denied it, which made her more suspicious to suho, while sieun didn't answer the question.

but at the end of the series, suha was the one who got hurt. she found the people who hurt sieun and went to return the pain but when she arrived, she was faced with cowards who couldn't fight with their own fists but used weapons—she was scared but she fought them anyways, for sieun, and she was winning but thats when someone attacked her from behind, hitting her on her head with a dumbell. she staggered back, clearly with a concussion, her distracted state allowed someone to stab her.

she looked down to see that there was a knife in her, when she looked up she made eye contact with beomseok who was watching with a shocked expression, because he didn't plan for them to use a knife. she coughed up blood as she breathless spoke to him directly —'beomseok-ah, you really crossed the line' before collapsing and clutching her wound as she bled out, hitting the floor hard. her last moments before she went unconscious was suho coming into view— he ran to her holding her face in his hands, with a frantic look on his face, she could only slightly hear him yelling for her not to close her eyes. but she could not fight the pain anymore. and suho with his twin's blood on his hands, was too distraught to realise beomseok had appeared behind him, and when he turned around it was too late to stop the small dumbell that was hurled at his head.

however, although suho recovered with a minor conussion—his twin suha wasn't so lucky. she was comatosed—fighting for her life. suho—although still recovering would sit in her room, never leaving. only when the nurses and doctor had to physically drag him back to his room for his own recovery, did he leave her. he could still see her blood on his hands, even though they had washed it off him ages ago. their grandmother tried her best to cheer him up. but suha was his twin—the face he always saw, the eyes that always stared back at him with mischief—never opened again. he would quietly beg her to open her eyes and yell at him—bicker with him—hit him like she always does. but she was so still, breathing slow and faint. they had almost lost her so many times. the doctor said that if they weren't found when they were, suha would have died. yes suho was injured, but he'd survive, as his concussion was minor, as beomseok had mostly missed with the dumbell— but with suha's physically damage from the hit and the stab wound, she would have bled out.

but the one who suffered the most was sieun. the last time they met was when she went to check up on him, and noticing that he got hurt, even though he tried to hide his injuries—it pissed her off and she wanted to hurt the people who did that to him. and when she directly told him she would fight them— he tried to stop her, saying he didn't want her to get hurt. she simply smiled at him for the last time before joking that 'she doesn't get hurt' and to trust in her.

if he had known that was the last time she would look at him, he would have fought harder for her to stay.

when he visited her after he had beat up the guys that hurt her and beomseok—suho wasn't there, but their grandmother was there. she already knew who he was, revealing that suha talks about him often. even teasing him that she believed suha liked him, before leaving the room to find suho. sieun just sat and stared her unconsious form. he held her hands as he cried. apologising, blaming himself for what happened—when he heard suho behind him call him an idiot. when he turned to see suho standing in the doorway, still holding on the the iv pole and hospital gown, he inhaled shakily. sieun was going to reiterate this apology when suho cut him off— 'you idiot', suho stood beside suha's bed and quietly scolded sieun that suha wouldn't let him take all the blame.

suho then revealed that he heard about what sieun had done, and that he would probably be expelled from their school. suho also told sieun that his grandmother was making him take a break from school and his part-time jobs— to look after suha and recover.

and that was sort of the last time sieun saw suho for a while.

during season 2, whenever sieun would visit suha, he didn't see suho. but suho's name would be all over the visitor logs. and sieun would overhear the nurses mentioning suho, saying how he was a regular visitor—that he would visit every other day, and so sieun would visit suha on the days where suho wasn't there. because he couldn't bare to face him again.

sieun continued to send suha texts, even though he know she couldn't read them. until one day he saw the 'read' on his messages, he rushed to the hospital— only to see suho entering her room with her phone in his hand. sieun was to scared to see suho. he knew now that suho had seen his messages, and what was going on in his life at eunjang. he was scared to face him, because what would suho think? of how he got into another fight? would suho make him stay away from suha forever?

but suho had already seen sieun. he actually would see sieun wait outside suha's room to scared to go in. suho would mutter under his breath 'that idiot' everytime he saw sieun's figure on the chair outside her room or his name on the visitor logs— did he forget that suho could also see his name on it? but he never approach him. apart of him was also scared to face his friend. what was he supposed to say? he was so caught up on his recovery that he didn't know how to apporach sieun. but suho also didn't want to scare sieun off, so he let him sit outside. thats when he read the messages on suha's phone. he read the updates from sieun. apart of him was relieved to know what was going on in his life, and he was happy to hear he was making friends. suho also almost reached out when he read that sieun got into more fights—he was scared to death that things would repeat itself— but suho couldn't bring himself to send that text. so he left sieun's messages on read, a way to let him know that suho knew.

and when he saw a face he didn't recognize outside suha's room, he started getting worried for sieun. he was hiding in the corner when he overheard this person in an orange jacket threaten sieun, he wanted step out and confront that guy—suho gathered that he probably threaten sieun with suha, which angered him but before he could act, they had already left. when he was sure that guy left, he rushed to check on suha, relieved to see that annoying jerk didn't hurt her.

then the phone call came.

it was actually suho who called. in frantic daze suho had called sieun, telling him to come quick—there was a problem with suha. he didn't even register to himself that—that was the first time he had heard sieun's voice in a long time. he was too panicked as he watch the doctors work frantically on suha to hear the sound of the truck's horn through the phone.

sieun was so stunned to hear suho's voice but more so what suho was telling him. suho didn't even greet him, too distressed to properly talk to him. so when he heard that suha's condition suddenly became worse, his heart dropped—everything went silent around him. until the sound of a horn tore him out of his daze.

suho was so exhausted. the adrenline that ran through him when the doctors were rushing around suha, he didn't even have time to calm down before sieun's mother called him—sieun was unconsious from an accident. suho didn't even blink as he ran to sieun. he got there the same time as his friends.

as baku, juntae and gotak were standing infront of the emergency room staring at sieun's state through the glass—suddenly a voice echoed through the halls. the boys at first didn't even pay attention until they heard the voice mention sieun. gotak was the first to turn his attention to the stranger that was panickly asking the nurses where yeon sieun was. suho didn't even notice the three strangers standing next to him, staring at him curiously. espeically baku.

the boys slowly gathered that suho must have been someone from sieun's past. they had heard the rumors. they already knew that sieun has a friend he visits. juntae was the one to first connect the dots—suho was that old friend. the boy standing in front of them was the one that recovered and his sister was the one sieun visits.

there was a silence between them. something unspoken. the worries they all shared for sieun. suho noted the scrapes—he was suddenly was reminded of the past—he quickly shook that thought away to greet them. he introduced himself, before he could explain his relation to sieun juntae said 'you're that friend—the one who recovered—your twin sister is..' he trailed off, unsure about mentioning suha, a sensitive toptic to sieun so they assumed it would the same for suho as well.

the four of them waited in silence as baku quietly cried—suho noticed and he thought to himself that they should know what happened. so suho told them the whole story. about the bullying, the fights, and most importantly—suha. he had a fond smile when he talked about her, he even laughed at the memories of the four of them, of how sieun used to pretend that suha's flirting didn't fluster him, especially since he never pulled away from her, or how sieun would tolerate the twin's bantering and bickering. he thanked the boys. thanking them for being there for sieun, even if he stubbornly pushed them away, and knowing sieun, he knew sieun tried to. he even joked that sieun has a thing about him that makes people want to protect him or befriend him—commenting he knew that first hand.

the mood lightened up slightly when suho would share stories at gotak's request. the boys would scoff or giggle slightly at the stories of how sieun would get so flustered at suha's teasing—they could visualize his reaction. but suho was interrupted when sieun's mother came to update them on his condition. that he was fine, and he was resting and catching up on sleep.

but what shocked suho was when she asked the boys not to be friends with him anymore. this was the same conversation she had with him back then—he was getting deja vu. when sieun's mother looked at him—he held his breath, it had been a while since they met. the last time they met was when he was in the hospital recovering and sieun's mom had visited suha. they didn't speak—she just quietly passed him an envelope and a basket. the basket had flowers and gifts for suha and suho, there was a letter—she had apologized and told him that she would cover all of their medical bills. she also mentioned that sieun didn't know that she was doing so and not to tell him. that envelope had enough money to cover his medical bills, suha's on-going treatment and to ensure he didn't need to take on anymore jobs. she left a small note of her contact—so that she could pay suha's medical bills in the future.

a while later, after baku had declared war on the union—when sieun woke, the first face he registered was baku's but when he glanced behind him, suho was also there. that was the first time they had made eye contact since their last conversation. suho heard sieun's pleas to go to suha, baku was holding him saying 'your friend, she's fine, they said she's okay' but sieun was insistent, he had to see her state himself. sieun continued to weakly struggle against baku's hold until suho spoke—his voice cut through sieun's desperate trance. suho put his hand on his shoulder—directing sieun's attention to him, 'she's better now. suha's okay i promise you sieun-ah' sieun's breath caught in his throat, his eyes welling up with tears, finally letting out a relieved breath. he had to hear it from suho to trust that suha was okay. he placed his hand on suho's, which were still on his shoulder. he needed to ground himself. suho's voice had already brought him back to reality, suho's presence reassured him.

baku could only sit there and watch them. the unspoken bond between old friends who have been through so much. the lingering presence of another person still haunting them. he could feel the air around them was heavy but it was warm. the air that was circluating the room was heavy with the weight of almost losing someone dear, whether that someone dear was sieun or suha—baku wasn't sure but he knew that to this new friend, suho—almost loosing both his friend and his twin sister in a span of a few hours still weighed heavy on him. suho and baku had briefly conversated throughout the week that sieun was still asleep. baku had learned more about their past— and suho had become apart of their little group. he fit in well. but they all knew that not until the union was defeated, none of them could relax.

suho offered to help with the fight, even coming with them to the location— saying how he wanted to help them, even if he didn't know them for long, 'friends of sieun are a friends of mine' and 'it's what suha would have done' but sieun firmly forbid him to even be there. juntae also declined the offer, gotak expressing that this was eunjang's fight, and baku joked that he wasn't a eunjang student so it would be unfair—which gotak said 'since when do the union care about fairness', which only prompted baku to boast about his 'morals' and 'honor'. so suho, who couldn't agrue—stayed behind, staying with suha as he sent them off.

it was a nice day out, when the boys were hanging out on the basketball court. juntae and gotak playing while baku and sieun were sat on the steps, and baku teasing sieun'. when sieun got a call from suho.

the four of them ran like their life depended on it. the boys knew how important suha was to sieun and suho—someone they grew to befriend and care deeply of. so when they saw that sieun suddenly botled away from the court, they didn't question it, they followed him—they knew it was suha and for sieun, they'd follow him anywhere.

when they finally arrived at the hospital, the group spotted suho. pushing a girl in a wheelchair. her hair longer, her bangs grown out, even though she had aged—without her permission, she was still just as beautiful. she didn't look like suho at all—if the boys didn't already know, they wouldn't have guessed they were twins. when suho spotted them—he came to a stop, causing suha to look up at him confusingly, they saw him mumble something to her, then he walked towards them, she still hadn't noticed them—too busy taking in the fresh air.

when he was pushing suha around—he had taken her out of her room to enjoy the fresh air and the sun's warmth, a break from the hospital's cold air. with suha, he was talking to her about their new friends and catching her up—like when the boys fell asleep together on the bus. that day he had waited for their return, but when their bus came to a stop, no one came out, so he stepped in—only to find them all asleep, leaning on each other, exhausted from everything. that first time they all had peaceful sleep.

sieun just froze. he stood still—unsure what to do—what to say. he took his sweet time taking in suha's appearence. her bangs had grown out framing her face now, her eyes looked tired but also content. she still looked the same. everyone had aged around her, their maturity was evident, and although she too—aged, she still felt stuck. sieun could see her inner conflict by the way she fiddled with her sleeve—his sleeve actually. she was wearing his hoodie. the hoodie he had left behind—in her room, the countless times he had used that hoodie to keep her warm.

his body visibly relaxed the moment his eyes were set on her. sieun was pulled from his daze when suho stood next to him, and baku had stepped forward—encouraging him 'go to her' and suho putting his hand on his shoulder 'she's been waiting for you' that made sieun look at suho, his eyes silently asking him if that was true, suho nodded faintly, reassuring him 'you were the first thing on her mind when she woke'. that gave sieun the courage to avert his eyes back to her. with a slight push from suho, sieun timidly waddled towards her.

hearing the murmering of voices behind her, she recognized the presence of the person that was constantly occupying her mind. she prepared herself for when she turned her head to face him. she felt the world pause when she made eye contact with sieun. suha's eyes flickered in recognition at those eyes. those damn eyes. they enchanted her, the sole sight of him made her forget the rehearsed conversation she had imagined of their reunion. she took in his figure. he looked stronger, less fragile, he looked healthier—happier. from what she had learned from suho, she knew that he had made friends. she also had finally read the messages he wrote her, her heart ached —worse than her body did when she was stabbed, hearing the pain and grief he went through during her comatose state. looking at him now, he looked older too, which made her feel a little weird since she still felt as if she hadn't aged.

sieun finally got a good look at her. her frame is lighter, but mostly he could finally see her eyes—eyes that no longer closed forever. eyes that were staring right into his soul, he had replayed and imagined how this scenario would play out, but like her—upon seeing her eyes, he forgot everything he wanted to say. but his eyes softened, they welled up with tears that were holding on for dear life to stay in his eyes. he instinctively and breathlessly exhaled her name, 'suha-yah'. she felt the warmth spread through her sore body at the sound of his voice, it resonated deep within her. and to hear him call her name sent a electrifying shiver through her body, she gripped his hoodie—which she pulled closer to her body, and at that action he finally realise that she was wearing his hoodie. to see her in it did something to him, like someone was squeezing his heart.

'are those your friends i heard so much about?' as if she never was in a coma—as if they hadn't spoken for a year. she glanced behind him, catching each of their eyes, noticing that their gaze was flickering back and forth between her and sieun. she was so comforted to see the care and fondness in their eyes when they looked at sieun, that there was people who cared for him and people he was fond of as well. she only ever had one wish for sieun—that he wasn't lonely anymore. and to see that it had come true brought a smile to her face.

seeing her slight teasing comment made him scoff—he blinked his tears out of his eyes, he nodded. and in that moment, he saw the mischief in her eyes, the playfulness that they held whenever she would tease him.

as he stepped closer to her, she could tell he was holding back words, but when he finally spoke, his words made her heart float, 'did i keep you waiting?'— of course he'd say that, he always knew what to say to combat her teasing. she let out a small giggle—oh how sieun missed that sound, his body tensed at it, because sometimes he feared he'd never be able to hear that sound again. and when she smiled, his friends understood why suha was so dear to sieun—she just had this smile that mades you swoon.

baku was mildly stunned to see her, he knew she was pretty but to actually see her in person, the photos didn't do her justice. suho and sieun had shared with the others photos and stories of suha, and suho boasted about her beauty—mostly to prove a point about his handsomeness as well. but more so, they could feel the tension and shift in the air, gotak felt as if they were intruding on something,there was just such a special air around them—they just had something deep going on, as if the air around those two—the boys couldn't graze.

sieun and suha stared at one another, their eyes were holding a private conversation. everyone knew that now that suha had woken, their group could finally relax, with no threat left. suha was safe and the union was gone. there was something unspoken in the air—the three boys were relieved for suho and sieun, and also excited to meet and get to know suha— the new addition to their group. and suha already felt that fluttering feeling of being with sieun again, and amusement of her approaching friendship with the other three boys.

ᝰ.ᐟ during their appearance on showterview, jihoon and saemi shared that hyunwook is not similar to suho at all, he's really like a little brother whos clingy. jihoon said that hyunwook acts like a baby and would cling and try to kiss him, while saemi revealed that hyunwook would follow her around on set like a little chick, that he would whine and pout 'noona' constantly. 'i think i heard —noona, noona, noona— a thousand times on set'

ᝰ.ᐟ hyunwook was basically a baby chick glued to her and jihoon, yelling 'noona!' every five seconds (jihoon's face: 'please… just let me hold my gf's hand in peace')

ᝰ.ᐟ this was also saemi and jihoon's first public appearance together, they acted normal of course but hyunwook would lowkey tease them throughout whc1 promotions—foreshadowing their relationship

ᝰ.ᐟ and during the promotions for whc2, not only did everyone already ship the two—they had revealed their relationship by then, but they started to ship their characters. it is very much implied that sieun and suha like each other—even the director openly said that their are each others first love

ᝰ.ᐟ and during the whc2 press con(?) for netflix, the cast and interviewer and even the audience in attendence wouldn't stop teasing jihoon about saemi.

ᝰ.ᐟ asking him about his fiancee and bringing her up, especially also teasing junyoung who played seungjae, as he also worked with saemi for 'when life gives you tangerines' as 'yeongbum', her character's fiancee that didn't work out because of his mother—he chose being a good son over being a good husband. the interviewer made comments about 'yeongbum-ssi, sieun stole your fiancee!' because saemi's character geummyeong broke up with yeongbum, junyoungs character—and now in real life, saemi and jihoon are engaged.

ᝰ.ᐟ the cast laughed at the sudden reference and scolding of junyoung by the interviewer, the audience snickered at their teasing remark and especially junyoung's reaction, he pretended to solemnly look at jihoon—who was trying not to laugh, and in-character said 'tsk- i should have punched him sooner—wait am i yeongbum or seungjae right now?' he snapped out of character, as he didn't think of which character he was replying as. jihoon and the rest the cast couldn't contain their laughter at his playfulness. saemi added on to the joke saying 'no wonder geum-myeong had to broke up with yeongbum— i mean look at him! he's so mean! gwan-sik appa would never approve of seongjae'

ᝰ.ᐟ and then the interviewer would point out 'ah so would he approve of sieun?' saemi laughed before teasing jihoon by saying 'i'm not sure about sieun, but my dad already approves of jihoon, so perhaps—' and jihoon became extremely flustered at her blatant teasing and he started blushing and covering his face, trying to hold back a smile. while ryeo un nudged him also trying not to laugh

ᝰ.ᐟ and let’s talk about that press con moment, jihoon looking bored until—the whc1 cast walks in, including saemi. his face went from 😑 to 😃 instantly, his eyes locked on her, following her figure as she sat behind him, they briefly greeted each other by squeezing each other's hands before letting go. the interviewer called him out, ' jihoon-ssi, you've been smiling nonstop—could it be~?' which caused saemi to giggle loudly from behind him. and jihoon pretending he wasn’t just caught in 4k being in love, i mean how can you blame him? his fiancee just surpised him by participating in this press con. netizens rewound the clip approximately 500 times for “look of love” edits.

ᝰ.ᐟ saemi actually sent the whole cast of whc2 coffee trucks and a food stall and food trucks during filming. She sent a catering team and truck to treat the staff and actors of whc2, she sent them for three days straight— since the big fight scene took 3 days to film and had the biggest cast.

ᝰ.ᐟ she didn't just send them any food truck, she sent them bbq and meat food trucks to give them energy to film the fight scene, and soup to beat the cold and wet weather—she even appeared on set to support them

ᝰ.ᐟ she helped staff film behind the scenes, she did an on-set interview segment for the netflix team as well—joking around with the cast she filmed little interview snippets with the cast. espeically jihoon, who didn't understand that she was supposed to be the interviewer and was acting like staff during the interview—as he kept calling her 'yeobo' or 'jagi' which she promptly scolded him saying that 'no! jagi i'm the staff interviewing you, pretend you don't know me' and then he would play along

ᝰ.ᐟ there was actually footage of a third perspective of their interview moment—they were holding hands the whole time as she was interviewing him (with the caption 'our cute couple' and 'keeping their hands warm')

ᝰ.ᐟ in other behind the scenes footage, specially the scene where sieun and suha are reunited, as ryeo un, minjae and hyunwook were completely surrounding saemi in the wheelchair and harassing her—singing her songs—out of tune— all three singing different songs, or dancing around her, while minyoung stood there laughing at them and you can hear jihoon yelling 'stop harassing her' and saemi screaming 'yeobo save me!' she was so small and hidden amongst the three of them towering over her form—you could only see her eyes and feet peaking out

ᝰ.ᐟ saemi didn't even talk about her sending the catering buffet. no one knew until during the presscon, the director brought it up. when the interviewer asked 'is there any fun on-set stories anyone like'd to share?' and director yoo said 'oh! i would like to share something about saemi', and gestured to saemi, 'she would never bring this up but—she actually was the one to send the bbq and soup trucks for that fight scene, we filmed for three days and it was really cold too, so i'm sure the cast and i know the staff were very thankful that she sent us warm food and drinks to give us energy'

ᝰ.ᐟ after filming, she treated the entire team of whc2 to eat, she rented out a whole ass restaurant and meeting room to have karaoke and food and party and celebration for finishing filming! she did the same things for season 1 too. the director even joked that he only brought suha back so that saemi would treat them to a meal. yoo subin who plays hyoman and the director's brother, also share this during the press con —'yeah the party! saemi rented out the whole restaruant for the entire staff and cast, she also paid the entire bill' hyunwook exclaimed 'there was a dance battle between jihoon and junyoung too' —which embarassed them greatly, minyoung also brought up—'i think saemi noona also did the same during season one right?' he asked director yoo, which he confirmed. saemi was hiding behind jihoon embarassed by the praise, clutching his jacket as she hid her face on his back—he reached his arm behind him to place a hand on her head, patting her to ease and comfort her embarassment

ᝰ.ᐟ minyoung (plays juntae) and her would conversate in english and the other cast would tease them, like after they spoke in english, ryeo un would go 'oh! wow! hollywood.' in english with a slight korean accent— which saemi would response by lightly shoving him

ᝰ.ᐟ there was also a viral video— oh what you ask? of actor bae nara and lee junyoung twerking at saemi's seoul concert. her concert was right after the show had aired so she invited the entire cast and director, she had a vip box reserved for them. this was the same concert that literally every single idol attended. (since during this time, most idols had more open schedules— think when bruno mars performed, it was basically like that— idols in the audience singing and screaming alongside normal fans, and some idols got a vip section to protect them) idols like seventeen and twice attended

ᝰ.ᐟ since saemi also performed her english tracks, she got a really big stadium to perform, the whc cast were filmed singing along to both her korean and english stages—and during her concert she had segments where she would walk to each section of the stadium to interact with fans, and when she reached the whc section, she was in a fighting stance and pretended to fight with them

ᝰ.ᐟ and during this concert, the reason it lasted 3-4 days was because this was a special anniversary concert— where she performed her entire discography (which includes her western releases, which korean fans enjoy sometimes even more than her korean tracks), and so during the 3-4 days she would have breaks to freshen up the concert with game sections. and during the game segements, she brought the whc cast on screen to help, and took the opportunity to point them out and promote whc

ᝰ.ᐟ jihoon was there for the entire 3-4 day concert btw (we love a supportive fiancee)

ᝰ.ᐟ saemi expressed that during filming for whc2, she was so worried about Jihoon, since he put so much effort into the first season that his health was a huge concern. that during whc final episode— during his crash out, he cried so much that he passed out, and for the hospital scene (where sieun visits a comatosed suha) he cried so many times, til he couldn't stop crying and filming whc is overall physcially exerting let alone mentally. so while he was filming for whc2, saemi was constantly worried he would push himself too much —'I know he wants to give the best performance and he works incredibly hard for it, but I was so riddled with worry that he'd overexert himself again'
