Lucas knew a little bit about those, but not exactly anything more. “Yea, you’re on Nowhere Islands, Tazmily Village, to be specific.” Who would write a book about a place named Nowhere Islands?

The shroom-hatted creature took in his surroundings, furrowing his face as if in contemplation. After a moment, he could be heard musing to himself, “I’m on an island...literally called...Nowhere...” His tone went even quieter as he went into deeper thought, “...feel like I’ve heard or read something--some kinda passing mention...”

As his eyes wandered back onto the human boy, he smiled apologetically, having all but forgotten up to that point he was still even there. “Oh, um, hope it’s not too much trouble,” he said, twiddling his little fingers, “but until I can find my way back home, I don’t really have a place to stay here... Oh!” He stopped for a moment to add, “My name’s Dus T., by the way...um, probably should’ve--ahem--been one of the first things I said...”
