here i come encouraging you to use this more: best shelby moment? my faves are

1: “you got a warrant?” and the cops actually leave

2: when Ambrose suggests he be more obedient and threatens him with presence, protean, AND serpentis at the same time and Shelby is just like “eh, so your eyes change color big whoop”

3: Waking up in the hospital with Artyrion and some random woman who INSISTS on touching your forehead

4: We hatch a plan to seduce him but the dice gods decide then and there he’s aroace

5: the first few attempts to ghoul him and it didn’t work

Firstly, of course Lieutenant Lawanda Moore would not barge in without a warrant. Her narrative purpose is to be a foil to the coterie’s chaos. She must embody order, so she must follow the rules to an extent. Shes still a hunter so has some leeway when dispatching supernaturals but would have no reason to bend the rules at all when dealing with what appears to be a human. She’s like a tv show cop not a real one.

Second Shelby being completely immune to all of Ambrose’s powers due to being stubborn and drunk all the time will forever be my favorite thing about them. But I think the dice deciding that he will not be into any of you is a close second.

ＤＩＸＯＮ ＦＡＭＩＬＹ ＴＲＥＥ    ᶰᵖᶜ

            Will Dixon (patriarch)  /   Cherry Woods Dixon (matriarch)  /  Otis Woods aka Fat Otis               We’ll you all know Will and Cherry Dixon, the dominate forces of the Dixon brothers. Before Cherry died, Will was a semi-good father. He actually looked after his kin and made sure they didn’t get into a shit load of trouble. He’s a social drinker, who loves motorcycles, and definitely hangs out with Otis Woods. They go hunting on the weekends and usually bring the boys.                Otis Woods, is Cherry Dixon’s older brother and since the marriage, he’s been present in the Dixon household as well. He’s the one that gave Merle his first drink and brought him along in a couple jobs for towing cars that haven’t paid of a buttload of tickets. So far, Will and Otis have less squabbles than Cherry has because he’s a more mellow guy. However, don’t mistake him for being a kindred fellow because he’s broken a few windshield’s when Georgia Trash think they can take him on. Which is why Wade Dixon comes along, as extra set of hands, since he’s more fit to take on an extra force.

           Wade Dixon (first cousin)  /  Spencer Dixon (first cousin)  /  Trigger (Will’s Godson)               Wade Dixon and Spencer Dixon are  Will Dixon’s nephew’s. Will Dixon has one brother and sister of blood, however, both of Wade’s parents have passed which is why Will’s kept an eye on the boy, when he moved in with his cousin, Spencer. Spencer’s mother is the one related to Will and she’s quite the beauty but also the type to sleep around. Entirely unsure who the father is but she doesn’t care. Even if she sleeps around, that doesn’t mean she’s a bad mom. Spencer’s been raised without a dad and he doesn’t need one cause Will once again has been there to steer him straight if he fuck’s things up. These two boys are closer in age to Merle and Daryl. Wade is more likely to get into some trouble with Merle, while Spencer keeps out of it and hits the bar. Spencer Dixon has his own old lady, meaning a girl on his arm.               Trigger isn’t a Dixon but he counts as family for the Dixon family because of a good friend that Will knew before he died. Trigger is that wacky, hyperactive, and always starting shit godson that could find himself drunk and wearing a huge ass baby diaper for pissing someone off. He may come off stupid but he’s pretty smart at times that it surprises Spencer, when he filters things. Trigger works at a gunshop, Spencer owns a lowkey bar for locals and a bounty hunter, and Wade does business with Otis. However, when Spencer needs some help, Trigger and Wade chip in.
