My twitter feed really has been full of Gou hate now because someone did a bad out-of-context edit on how “cruel“ Gou denying Scorbunny scene was. Which it was. But isn’t the full context.

NOT even MENTIONING how he has a change of heart.

Which was the point of the episode’s plot. To show how Gou changes his heart due to bonding.

Why do people believe such out-of-context stuff so blissfully I..... I’m so confused man!

I cried.

My love for Hibunny has grown ten-fold.

He’s a sweetheart, caring, loving Pokémon who takes care of a trio of Nickit. ;_; I...... GOSH GOU STOP BEING OBSESSED ABOUT MEW AND ADOPT THIS BUNNY THIS INSTANT!!!

The animation was great, the ost was great, the narrative was awesome, I loved freaking everything about this episode and I cannot wait to rewatch it with subs! Even next episode looks darn great, in all angles, Gou seems to still be obsessed with Mew but he’ll warm up, he’ll warm up alright (he already sorta lied about Hibunny being his today!!! He’s already unknowingly adopting it lol) And Nickit throwing HIbunny to the train because they saw how much he took a liking to Gou..... these sweeties.

I’m laughing at doubters who thought Champion Pikachu would lose to Hibunny (was never confirmed and never shown, these people need to learn to have more faith - which I always had!) and also giggling at people thinking Nickit would be portrayed as evil. They weren’t! They were just trying to survive and Hibunny was there for them! Gosh I loved how they did these characterisations <33333

So, forgot about Cho-Animedia’s weekly screencap showcase of upcoming episodes for Pokeani! And it confirms the debut of one of my fav gen 8 Pokémon <3

Will Hibunny protect Gou from Gigantamax Snorlax? - Edit: This would seem to be the case if we take Oha Suta’s preview dialogue from Gou into account, as he excplictly says Kabigon versus Hibunnny! - Will Gou have second thoughts after seeing it so crushed and disappoint? With Satoshi tell Gou to go on and catch it as his first? I look forward to seeing this!

We’ve been misinformed by Anipoke Staff LOL.

We only have one episode on November 17th apparently. No clue what the rest of 1h special is spent on.

Anywho, we know til episode 4 now (actually til episode 5 due to an artwork shared on twitter official account)! You can check them all on Serebii.Net forums, as usual, but here are the episode titles and supposed dates of airings:

November 17th: NS001: Pikachu is Born!

November 24th: NS002: On Lugia They Go, Satoshi and Go!

December 1st: NS003: Fushigisou is Quite Mysterious, Don't You Think So?

December 8th: NS004: Let's Go to the Galar Region! An Encounter with Hibunny!! 

No clue when episode five is airing, but judging by this tweet right here, It’s to introduce dynamaxing. The episode title appears to be something along the lines of “Kabigon is huge?! The big mystery of Dynamax!“

Rewatched the ep, and I understood some lines way better, so it ultimately became a better episode. <3 There was nice narration style going on with dropping plot points early in the episode until it all comes together, like the red lights being mentioned with being related to Daimax/Dynamax, and how Snorlax was made to move twice with a berry technique. I found it funny how Satoshi wondered if the red lights meant the train traffic red lights lol. Silly.... but he did awesome during the berry sequence, the co-work of Pikachu and Satoshi was great, and seeing Gou change is mind on wanting Hibunny to be his first partner was sweet! Like, when Hibunny was in danger, Gou always shouted at it in sort of a panic? So he def bonded closely to it and didn’t seem to realise it until last minutes. So yeh, agreeing with satoshi again, they make a great combo! (Satoshi keeps talking like a veteran and I’m just here emotional about it sniff)

What else what else.... great animation, quite liked the audio editing in this episode, and Hibunny is just so darn cute my heart can’t handle it.... <3 Also Gou not being sure if he caught Hibunny or not since he didn’t throw the ball correctly LOL. Then sees Hibunny being added to his Zukan and he goes all excited. :D So cute~

I’ll opt to write more about latest pokeani ep later but, I LOVE HIBUNNY SO MUCH AND I’M GLAD GOU DECIDED TO DITCH HIS MEW OBSESSION FOR NOW <333 Like Satoshi said: the two are perfect together. Overall enjoyed the ep.

Next week thou, errrrrmmmmmm I think I’ll be trembling in fear, we didn’t see Beedrill/Spear for wholety of Alola and that was relaxing, now they back due to Kanto setting and I STILL HAVE TRAUMA ON THAT OS EP AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.

KRhm. At least it’ll be Iwane animated ep.

Honestly, the moment my eyes saw the animation for next week’s episode (NS005), my brain went all “IS THAT IWANE WOHOO IWANE DEBUUUT wait his episode is in two weeks BUT THIS IS IWANE AAAH“.

Then Iwane confirms on twitter he’s involved in next episode as well :-D Thanks Iwane~
