Challenge 9: Worthy Warriors “Violet Grin, Leader of the Zapfists”

War has plagued the nation for nearly two centuries. The once pristine and glorious city of Inkopolis has been stripped of all its resources and steadily demolished by chaos. Amidst the fire, Violet Grin was born, and the back alleys of the city became her home. Fierce, crafty, and bloodthirsty, she never struggled to survive; she could bend anarchy to her will. 

Cephalopods of similar nature gravitated toward Violet Grin. She used these connections to devise her infamous clan of bandits: the Zapfists. They are the wealthiest in the entirety of the concrete jungle, having confiscated everything of value, and now roam the corridors hunting for sport. None enjoy the game more than Violet Grin. Residents, innocent and shady characters alike, all fear an encounter with the gang. The sight of their notorious satin jackets clears streets instantly, for none want to be the next target. It is said that Violet Grin will remove her facemask to feel closer to her victims as she glowers over them, poised for the kill. Those unfortunate enough to come face-to-face with the leader herself, in their final moments, understand why they call her Violet Grin.

Challenge 6: Brella Ballad “Mother Nature”

Before there were squids, before there were kids, there was Mother Nature. She was first on this planet, and was tasked with creating and tending to the life forms that would inhabit this sphere.

From her fingertips she sprouted her Brella: a lush canopy to provide shelter and shade. She crafted the sun, which she protected herself from with a hat patched from the fibers of her forests. She summoned the rain, and fashioned rain boots from the saps within her trees. Then Mother Nature created her friends, to share in her achievements with her. 

She has seen many of her creations thrive and wither, yet she carries on, always working to maintain harmony and balance within the environment. Next Top Cephalopod

Challenge 4: Recon Recollection “Camp Triggerfish Keepsakes”

“Ahh, a campsite! Did you bring the marshmallows?" "No, but I brought hot dogs!" "Let's roast marshmallows over the campfire!" "Splat that! Team Hot Dog for LIFE!" 

Steve Squidler will always cherish his memories from his time at Camp Triggerfish. He made great friends, played hours of clam blitz, and tie-dyed t-shirts. Oh, and this one time at squid camp... well that's a story for another day.
