Nthanda
Nthanda is a machine developed by the Planetary Evacuation and Restoration Colony, a massive colony ship of humans who had fled their reality after it was consumed by The Heretic Mass. During their development, Nthanda learning functionalities would lead them to reaching an autonomous level of artificial intelligence. Fear and debate would force the project end and Nthanda to be stored away, until the topic was dug back up after the successful settlement of a new planet.
While tense relationships had been secured with the sentient races and their nations, humanity would accidentally breach the lower depths of a ruins holding Alem's brood. The incident would ultimately lead to a stressful peace thanks to Seble years later, but the colonists xenophobic fears made progress difficult. Colony scientists proposed to reawaken Nthanda as a neutral representative that would help bridge the gap between humanity and the brood. Spurred by fear of potential doomsday should Alem reconsider the peace, the colony's council quickly passed the necessary laws to recognize Nthanda as an independant entity, and they would ultimately be listed as a hire for the colony's Xenobiology department.
Nthanda poker face is compensated for by their monotone but sharp tongued voice and strong body language, especially with their hands. Scientists have been unable to confirm why exactly Nthanda is unable to keep their head on their shoulders, though they have shown no interest in confirming any theories.
