As Green 5 finishes up their journey in Colville Wa, I reflect on all the lessons that I have learned while serving for Habitat for Humanity this round. I appreciate all the struggles I have faced, as they’ve forced me to grow as a leader. I have found inspiration in all the people I’ve meet this round, especially our site supervisor Bruce. Bruce has taught me so much this round, both about construction and leadership. He reminds me a little bit of my dad and Grandpa Berendes fused into one person and I don’t think the world can handle it. Tomorrow is our last day and Green 5 will continue to Garberville Ca, working with the State Park. Stay tuned as I hope to get better at Tumblr this next round. In fact it is my goal.
