“Vhenan…”

Solas prodded the side, or theorized side, of the bundle that was glued to his chest. It was all comforter, sheets and coverlet with tufts of white hair sticking out under his chin and bare legs thrown over his hips like usual. The lump shifted, making a displeased sound, and the freezing feet against his thigh dug in.

After reaching back and shifting the cold skin away from his, he poked again. “Vhenan, wake up.”

“Nnrrgh.”

He couldn’t help but smile at the noise, though his fingers now dug under the cloth to find flesh. “Vhenan.”

“Whaaat?” A flap was lifted, sleepy blue eyes peering up at him. “What, ‘las?”

“My arm-”

“Arm.” Thema pointedly look at the one that was now truly poking her in the side.

“My other arm, Them’. I would like it back, it has fallen asleep.” He couldn’t feel his fingers past where her head rested upon it and the numb sensation was creeping up to his shoulder.

The Inquisitor buried herself back under her layers but shifted her head to his chest. “Jus’ say so nex’ ‘ime.” With those words his love and tormentor dropped back into sleep. There was a soft little snore starting, one he hoped wouldn’t turn into what she called a ‘chainsaw’.

“What is it Dorian says…” Solas muttered, rubbing feeling back into his appendage. “Festis bei umo cavanarum, I believe.”

Guys they numbed my whole arm and I got to see what it felt like to hold hands with somebody and play with someone else's hand😘😤

My arm has always been sensitive to shots. EVERY TIME I get an immunization, it goes numb. There's no swelling, no real bruising other than just the pinpoint of the needle, no pain. It just gets floppy. My muscle is a little sore,but the heaviness kills me. The awesome thing is that it happens to my little brother as well. Every time we got shots as kids we'd flap our dead arms at each other. One time, for our hepatitis shots, they used this weird needleless gun and our arms went totally numb. Mom decided to get foods right after so here we are with little motor coordination and bilateral numb arms. It was memorable.

Ah, good times.

Anyways,I wonder how long this time will last.

to wake up thinking you’ve lost a limb, to be unable to move it - your mind wants your left arm to move but you look at it and realise that you really are unable to move it... better yet, you feel like it is not part of your body, like somehow it has detached itself. your mind is trying to give it commands, but this left arm is not responding – it turns left and right based on the direction you flip your body, it follows like a hanging body part. exploring this frightening phenomena you try to feel it with your right hand, you feel it – but it’s only through your right hand. so you try to pick it up, and you can – but only using your right hand. you wake up, even more frightened by the feeling of not feeling. you concentrate your mind on moving your left arm, closing your hand and then opening it again and you finally feel the flow of blood rushing through it, it the electric chord connecting your arm to your body was molded, the feeling sensation is coming back - still with a numb left arm you raise yourself up and thank God for this new chance at life. alhamdulillah. may no one ever feel what I had felt last night. alhamdulillah. we are so blessed to just be walking on both feet, breathing.

Why are you hitting yourself?

So I slept on my arm last night. It was so bad that my whole lower arm was completely numb and I couldn’t even move it… So I tried to move my fingers to get the circulation going, but instead my arm flew up and hit me in MY FACE! Like what the hell?? *why are you hitting yourself?* *why are you hitting yourself?* I don’t know…😭😖 haha but it was really weird though 😜
