36!!! For the Inquisitor asks. 🎃
#36: What was the most difficult choice that they had to make?
AAAAHHHH - this hurts my heart tbh... everything my Inquisitor Kandice does is always difficult, but I'm not sure what would be considered the hardest...
So, background knowledge kinda - I'm gonna answer this with my Inquisitor Kandice from my 'Young Blood' universe, where she's a modern girl transported into Thedas, basically knowing everything that's gonna happen.
I've not written it out in the actual fic, but when time comes that the events of Trespasser are gonna happen, Kandice is like 6 months pregnant, and Emily has 2 month old twins. Its important to know, too, that they both have the Anchor, but Emily is like the official inquisitor or whatever haha... anyways. So we know how Solas is Fen'Harel and how he would take inkies arm at the end. So because Kandice is pregnant, Emily does most of the exploring through the eluvians to try and figure out everything, but like we know its causing her anchor to flare up really badly. Kandice then makes the executive decision to follow them the last time they go through, right before Solas is about to take her sister's arm, and tries to reason with the big bad wolf - to see if there's any way Kandice could take Emily's anchor into her own to save Emily's arm, even if it could hurt her or her unborn child. Of course, there's also ulterior motives here - but that's hush hush cause I want it to be kinda a surprise when I write it all out haha.
So basically, Kandice decides to out her life at risk for ulterior motives to try and save Emily's arm so she can go live her happy life with her twins and her husband.
It sounds kinda cliche and not too difficult, but it sounds more emotional in my head haha.
