About Me

My name is Catherine and I’m an OR nurse... well sort of. Actually I’m a recent new grad who landed her dream job in the Operating Room, fresh out of school. Five weeks into training and already I can see why it isn’t for the faint of heart. There’s so much to learn! And you’re doing it all while standing on your feet. The thing about the OR though is that it’s so different, and there aren’t many nurses I can relate to. So I’ve decided to try my hand at blogging as a way to let people in, and encourage others to step foot beyond the OR door (but only if properly dressed of course) So please feel free to ask any questions about the OR or my experience, I hope this blog will be a fun adventure
