knitting pattern : thranduil shawl
i feel like i have been working on this one forever.
details:
pattern : fern lace center, eyelet twigs & nupp main body
border : garter stitch border
bind off : picot bind off
directions : charted
yarn : wollmeise sockenwolle 80/20 twin (i used one skein)
needle : us 7 circs or straights
gauge : 9 sts x 9 rows = 2 inches in eyelet twigs & nupp (blocked)
finished measurements : 52 x 20.5 inches (blocked)
there is additional charted rows given in case you would like a deeper shawl. be aware you will need more than one skein of the yarn. i used every bit of my skein to make this shawl.
i like to name my shawls after characters in books and movies. this one hits both. thranduil was the elven king in the hobbit book and now movies.
you can purchase the pattern here on the website, kollabora, and ravelry. or if you can find it, on craftsy. (i have trouble finding things on there for some reason.)
super scary people ive been followin for 1+ years are finding me here and actually like block b HMMMMmmhHMMmmm
