White People Shit With Chowder and Nursey

I just had this vision of Nursey and Chowder just like, explaining ridiculous shit white people do á la Hockey Shit w/ Ransom and Holster

White People things that they explain include, but are not limited to:

•what exactly constitutes a casserole (I’m white and I’m still not sure??? what makes something a casserole???) (also they probably ask Bitty about this one) •why white people don’t use seasoning •white people and their creepy fascination with poc’s hair •the word “exotic” •"what are yo u?????¿?“ •why do they dress Like That (with a picture of pre-Harvard Shitty) •"I’m not racist” (again, with a picture of Shitty, because Shitty may be like The Best Ally ever and all that bs but the boi needs to shut up occasionally)

And like they have guests; Dex and Bitty a couple times (not Shitty because they know Shitty would want to do all the talking and end up mansplaining for like an hour) and Holster and Jack maybe once each, as well as Lardo, Ransom, and Ford to have them exchange White People stories

(I don’t want to write this myself because, as mentioned above, I’m white and it deserves to be written by someone who actually understands being on the receiving end of White People Shit)

Nursey Week Update!

Alrighty, there’s three weeks until Nursey Week. To create more content I’ve come up with a bunch of one word prompts that are hopefully ambiguous enough for everyone to make their own content and interpretations. Here are the prompts for each day;

Since we’re going for more Nursey content, there’s two prompts per day. You can choose whichever prompt you want for that day. One or the other or both! Whichever works best for you; this is designed for a bit of versatility.

I also encourage all kinds of Nursey ships as well; Nurseydex, Nurseyrans, NurseyHolster, NurseChow, BittyNurse, and any other ship you might have in mind!

one night nursey woke up from a really bad nightmare and somehow managed to crawl out of bed without waking dex and wandered from his dorm room to the haus so he could climb into chowder’s bed because while dex is his bf and he loves him he’s never been too good at dealing with nursey after a particularly rough nightmare but chowder. chowder understands. nursey usually checks to make sure caitlyn isn’t over because he’ll hate himself that much more if he disturbs them (and just sleep on the couch instead)

but if she’s not he crawls into bed with chowder and chowder is awake instantly and knows what’s wrong and he holds onto nursey who’s cold (he didn’t put on a jacket) and trembling (it scared him so bad) and hyperventilating a bit (i’m sorry i’m sorry i’m sorry) and he just lets Nursey fall asleep against him, warming up slowly and surely and being pulled down from the adrenaline of the nightmare by the constant of chowder’s heartbeat and chowder helping him count his breaths so he’s not panicking as badly until nursey’s asleep again

and chowder texts dex to let him know that nursey is alright and just had a nightmare and he isn’t surprised at the immediate reply from dex of “i’m omw” because dex knows that nursey can’t go to chowder forever and even though chowder’s bed really isn’t all that big enough to fit all three of them he knows chowder doesn’t mind when nursey’s like this

and dex squeezes in so that he’s got an arm and a leg thrown over nursey (and chowder) and he’s there when nursey wakes up and is all apologies and self-deprecating jokes and chowder and dex make sure nursey knows he’s no trouble and that they both love him because he’s their friend/boyfriend (in dex’s case)

Sick Day

If you asked Chris what he hated the most, it was being sick. The runny nose, the constant coughing, the aches, the creaking in his bones whenever he moved; Chris hated all of it. It was a poor excuse to miss practice and class (things he could do with his time, things to keep him occupied, things to help keep his mind focused) but when he got sick there were few people that would let him out of the Haus for class or practice.

One of those people was, unfortunately, his boyfriend.

“Please? For me, at least, don’t go to class,” Derek pleaded, because the clumsiest man on earth was, of course, worried about something happening to Chris if he left the Haus sick. As if Chris hadn’t done it before.

“I’ll stay in the Haus, but don’t make me stay in bed,” Chris conceded, sighing. He gave Derek a small smile, since he still knew that Derek was just worried. Derek seemed to consider for a moment, before nodding. As if he’d be able to stop Chris from getting up if he wanted to anyway.

“We could go downstairs and watch Netflix. Shitty updated the password this morning because he thinks he’s clever. Plus, I cleaned the dishes last night so I’ve got pie privileges today.”

Chris appreciates that Derek’s thinking of him. He stands up and grabs his blanket, wrapping it tightly around himself because he’s been cold all day even though the Haus temperature hasn’t dropped beneath seventy degrees. Derek tries not to chuckle when he sees the way Chris is wrapped up in it, but takes Chris’ hand and leads him downstairs.

The others should have been in class by now, and Nursey didn’t have class on Tuesdays. He pushed Chris towards the couch and tossed him the remote. Chris turned on Netflix and pulled up Luke Cage; they were in the middle of episode four but they probably needed to start from the beginning, since this was their first watch through.

Derek came back with pie and lemonade, as well as what looked like a bottle of cough syrup. Chris wrinkled his nose at the cough syrup.

“I don’t know if I wanna drink that,” he said.

“It’s supposed to help with congestion. Are you not congested?” Derek asked. Chris shrugged. Derek put the pie down and then nudged at Chris, who groaned playfully but opened up his blanket to let Derek in for them to cuddle. This was the only time they’d be allowed to sit together without getting fined.

“Don’t take it if you don’t wanna. Maybe I’ll chug the bottle and get high.”

“You wouldn’t,” Chris snorted. He pressed a kiss against Derek’s temple and pressed lay for Luke Cage.

“I might. Maybe you should kiss me so I can get sick and then I’ll need to take it.”

“If you think you’re getting any sick kisses from me you’re wrong sorry.”

Derek couldn’t help laughing at that. They settled into silence for a bit. It didn’t take long for Derek to realize that Chris had actually drifted off into sleep within minutes. Clearly Chris had been a lot more tired than he had let on. Derek smiled softly to himself, turning the TV off and closing his eyes.

They got fined when Ollie and Wicks showed up at one.
