A nursing shortage does not only effect the general public it effects every nurse that is working right now because of this shortage nurses are being over worked mentally and physically. They are being asked to work long ours in stressful conditions with multiple patients to look after. What about that doesn’t send up some sort of red flag that unsafe conditions will lead to mistakes. A firefighter would not go in to a burning building with out back up so why should a nurse be expected to handle multiple patients to herself solo?
