You will love these Banana Muffins with Nutella Swirl because they have the sweetness of ripe bananas and the smooth, creamy goodness of Nutella. This is a great snack or breakfast food.
Ingredients: 2 ripe bananas, mashed. 1/2 cup granulated sugar. 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted. 1 egg. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour. 1 teaspoon baking powder. 1/2 teaspoon baking soda. 1/4 teaspoon salt. 1/2 cup Nutella. 1/4 cup chopped walnuts optional.
Instructions: Start by heating the oven to 350F 175C. Mash the bananas and add the sugar, melted butter, egg, and vanilla extract to a mixing bowl. Combine well. Mix the all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt together in a different bowl using a whisk. Slowly add the dry ingredients to the banana mixture and mix them in until they are just combined. Put paper liners in a muffin tin or grease it with cooking spray or butter. Add half of the banana muffin batter to each muffin cup. On top of each muffin cup of batter, put a small amount of Nutella. To make it look like marble, swirl the Nutella into the banana muffin batter with a toothpick or skewer. If you want, you can top each muffin with chopped walnuts. After the oven is hot, bake the muffins for 18 to 20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the middle comes out clean. First, let the muffins cool in the pan for a few minutes. Then, move them to a wire rack to cool completely. Have fun with your tasty Banana Muffins with Nutella Swirl!
