hi! i like your deer maria concept! id like to hear more about the swap au youre building, if you have more. i presume its mainly their roles that get swapped, but do their powers/gimmicks swap as well (ex: would blaze now wield a hammer and amy have fire powers)?
what about their dynamics with each other, do they take on similar dynamics to the characters theyve swapped to (ex: do maria and blaze now have a similar relationship to sonic and amy), or is it completely different based on their personalities?
im also absolutely fascinated by every change you make to their designs, id love to hear the reasoning behind your changes if you have any to share :]

their powers......while i do change up a few things, to make since with their new backstory, like how shadow doesnt have his powers, and how maria has super speed, everyone else has their same stuff, like blaze still has her fire and amy still has her hammer
the dynamics are simularish, like shadow looks up to maria, while maria sees him as a lil brother, and such, and blaze does have some admiration for maria
with shadow, first off, i made him shorter, and raised his eye shape a bit, since hes now 8, and since hes a lot younger, hes more inexperiences, so hes trying to be cool, as shown by his jacket and sunglasses, now with his boots, i tried to make them look inspired by marias shoes, and i removed the red stripes since he doesnt have his black arms dna
rouge i went in with the idea that she was lost on angel island as a loen survivor of a plane crash, and has been taken care of by tikal and the ME, hince the jewerly she has, and with the environment, i had her cover most of her body and put her hair in a ponytail to keep it all safe
with blaze, i gave her more chill vibes, and some tomboy vibes, since she doesnt have the expectations of being a princess. also gave her inhibitor rings since she doesnt like her fire powers, so she tries to keep them blocked
with maria, after some voting from some friends, she ended up being a deer, pronghorn, which honestly fits her, plus they are fast, and as for her outfit, i took a bit of inspo from the popular fan design of maria the hedgehog. i kept her little headband, and stripe on her crop top, but added a little belt with a ring on it as reference to the fan design, and also as a little gold ring she has for good luck. her little dress/skirt she has is a bit of a reference to eggmans whole jacket, since she used to be a robotnic. i made her shoes like shadows as a little reference, and added the little white strip as refeence to sonics shoes. and the light blue strip on the top part is meant to match her crop top.
